First, the case is terrific. There are several choices of how to carry—a handle on the end to carry vertically, with feet at the other end, a handle on the side with feet on the opposing side, backpack straps, and a shoulder strap inside with rings at each end of the case to attach to. There's a zipper compartment that lets you store music and instructions, and the main zipper to open the case, with a velcro-secured flap to protect the zipper from opening through movement. Inside, the case is plush with strong foam to secure the instrument. There's a strap to keep the case from opening farther than needed. I'm a musician (mainly keyboards) who's new to trumpet, but I wanted to understand the mouth pieces a little better, I bought a 3C to go along with the 7C that came with the instrument. I can't evaluate the trumpet's playability fully, because it's the only one I've played, but I'm getting used to it and can play notes. It feels comfortable, and everything works smoothly—the valve fell good to me. Though I've seen mostly brass finished trumpets in my life, I opted for the nickel plated version, and I'm happy with the choice.

Good beginner trumpet with a very nice case. There are accessories included with the trumpet including a mute, a cleaning kit, and carrying straps. The trumpet is very light in weight. I was expecting it to weigh more, but maybe that is just my inexperience with trumpets. It looks very nice and everything functions on it. The case is versatile and can be carried by the handle, or with a shoulder strap, or like a backpack. Very good for this beginner.
