I've always been one to use an air mattress when camping, but when flying to a camping destination/ arriving late at night to a site and not wanting to wake the whole campground with the sound of the pump: I needed another option. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a go and I'm glad we did! This pad takes up less room than a pair of sweatpants and is really easy and quick to inflate. I only had one issue with it and that was a user error. It's a bit hard to properly close once completely inflated and I learned that the hard way, I thought I had it closed, but until you hear the snap its not... I woke up 2 times that night and had to re inflate, after the second time I pushed that sucker HARD and that's when I heard the snap and realized OHHHH... okay user error haha I've never had the same problem. We now have two and they BOTH fit into our tent bag along with the tent/poles etc... lightweight, comfy, takes up very little space and keeps me warm and off the ground. I’ve had 4 spine surgeries and a regular air mattress just can’t cut it. I decided to try this air pad and was amazingly surprised. I put it inside the 1st of my double military issued mummy sleeping bags and slept inside the other bag on top of it and this was the first time I’ve been able to sleep outside in 10yrs. It was 53° when I went to sleep, 41 when I woke up (14 mph sustained winds, 30mph gusts) and I slept through the entire night with no issues except for the wind blowing through the tent which once I fell asleep were forgotten except for the fact that the tent will be going back (4 season tent my butt!). New tents already been ordered. I can honestly say sleeping on this air pad gave me one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in many many years! I highly recommend. FYI, you do not need any pump to blow it up. I did use one but it blows up so easily and quickly a pump is a waste of space, money and time bc you will need to put 1-2 breaths into it at the end to fully inflate it anyway. I did not get the insulated one bc like I stated it’s between sleeping bags which insulate it, had I been using it against the ground or against my clothing I prob would have gone insulated. Something to consider when purchasing for yourself. It packs up very small and easy with a flip valve 1 way only lets air in, other way let’s it deflate very quick. ... show more

Its around 700 grams not so lightweight but it was showed very good performance at 5 C weather. I didnt feld cold from bottom. And slept very comfortable. I can easily recommended.

I've used it on just two backpack trips so far. It is definitely light weight, but it is still very comfortable. I still need a pillow as a side sleeper. It rolls much flatter and smaller that I thought it would. I would but this again.

I love this pad so much! My boyfriend got it first and loved it, so I was jealous and also got one. So much better than my thermarest in so many ways. It packs smaller, is lighter and supports side sleeping more than any pad I have had before. Its also amazing quality for how much I paid for it ($70-$80). Other pads with similar qualities that this one has range from $100-$300, and I don’t have that much money to splurge. I have a dog and get a little worried about his nails puncturing it, but so far it hasn’t happened. It’s warm, and last time I went camping it hailed on us during the day, and I was warm all night (but that might be due to me having a nice sleeping bag too). I don’t camp in the winter, but spring, summer and fall, it keeps me warm. Over all, this pad is the best one I’ve had yet, and I’m looking to possibly get a pillow by klimate as well. ... show more

I just couldn't bear to drop $200 at certain nameless outdoor vendors of high-end high-priced gear, so I went for this, which compared favorably for weight and insulation. It kept me warm at below-freezing. It was comfortable and stayed inflated (be sure to seat the cap properly). It is quick to inflate, 10 breaths in all. I have used this product bivy camping several times now. It is comfortable, insulating, light, and low volume in your pack. Putting it away is an absolute pain in the behind because of how the baffled design restricts how you can fold it without trapping air. It has always taken me several attempts to deflate and roll it entirely. Other than that, for the price it is a good product and it absolutely beats a foam mat or cheaper air mat BY FAR, and i will continue to use it until it breaks! When it does break i will likely look for a product that stows quicker and easier, because there is nothing more frusterating than waking with the sunrise to equiptment that you must fight to get it into its bag! ... show more
