I have purchased this book 5-6 times because I like to have back-up gifts on hand for birthday parties. I had first purchased this for my older daughters (ages 11 & 9) as an Easter gift. They love the rubber band bracelets so I wanted to find something more unique and different than what everyone else has. We made these as young girls so it was fun to gift them something from my childhood. The clip that comes with the book is handy for holding down your strings as you make the bracelet. My 9yr old wasn't as interested as my 11yr old. There is a big difference in having patience between both of them. 😊 This book is a great gift for children that like a challenge. Gave as a gift. Girl was making them easily before I even left their home and enjoyed the activity. The strings are super thin though so could be difficult to work with even though the girl seemed to have no problem.
