  • Wears down, as expected
These KLTECH tools are nice and sturdy and wear down when put to work. Made a very expensive dealer trip a cinche to do at home, saving a few hundred bucks on my luxury brand auto (even the local shop was going to charge quite a bit). I imagine I couldn't do the same job more than a few times as the tool I primarily used had some pretty good gashes after my use. But probably enough uses for what I'll ever need them for, and impressed they didn't break given the stress I put on them. I would prefer the parts wear down than scratching my car, so the 4 star on durability is actually a good thing, hence overall 5 stars. ... show more

  • Don't Waste Your Money - Cheap Plastic
This product is made from cheap and brittle plastic. I'm very careful with all my tools and having bought this for my 4runner to remove some trims, after 2 uses, the tips have already chipped. I try not to be to critical with reviews unless I feel the product is just a waste of money and this one is in that category AND I try not to give advice but this product is not worth it. Look elsewhere and spend a bit more money for a quality product. I will be looking for something better. ... show more

  • Cheap insurance for expensive interiors.
Cheap way to look like a pro and save that interior. If your stereo guy doesn't have a set, go somewhere else. Sturdy, gentle, and ONE of those eight ends will get that off... great addition to my specialist tools. And for those folks saying they are flimsy... well, kinda. I haven't bent or broken mine yet, but I try to be gentle. They need to be flexible. and they cost six bucks, I'd much rather replace a tool than snap off an impossible-to-find unobtanium trim whatsit. ... show more

  • A must have when working inside a car!
I have used these tools several times since purchasing. If you are an automotive person, this is a must for anyone working in an interior of a car. I used to use small screwdrivers or flat head screw drivers but somehow always ended up scratching or breaking something in the interior. If you're working on removing any type of panels in your car and want to protect it, this is the way to go. This worked well when I was installing a new shifter and I had to remove the console, radio panels to do the job. I also installed two dash cams and these tools worked perfectly to remove the pillars and to wire everything nice and neat. I just wish I had these tools years ago...inexpensive pieces of plastic that prove to be very useful. ... show more

  • No Scratches!
These were great. Yeah, for most of us these will be one time use or needed for a special situation. However, better to use the right tool then try and make it work with the wrong tool. Circles don't fit through squares my friends, they just never do. In my case I needed to get to my wife's Murano license plate lights. Which Nissan was kind enough to place behind layers of trim. I will not my Ford Edge requires a small screwdriver and about 2 min of my time. With these tools I was able to remove the trim without scratches and replace the lights with some nice blue high temp LEDs. She is quite happy and that makes my life easier! ... show more

  • but I dont need pretty tools. then I opened them up
I have used dozens of these plastic pry tool.....so I figured, why not. they arrived, and are quite a ugly color, and some are discolored, but I dont need pretty tools. then I opened them up, and they are rather large. much bigger then the standard metra/install bay tpye blue ones. So in my book this is a plus, as I will use them mostly for dash trim, sil plates, and door panels. Then I picked them up. they are some type of hard plastic with a pretty smooth finish. they have no bend to them, I dont know if they will become plyable when it warms up (its cold here now) but I hope not. That was my biggest gripe about the install bay ones, they bent before they would remove a stuck clip. The price was on par with harbor freight, but I dont have one local, and was just adding theses to the collection. I cant say they wolnt mar a surface, but Ive rigged up plenty of hard plastic tools to pop off trim with good results, and these look and feel about the same, the apperance dosent bother me, the fast that they are bigger, and harder then the so called "professional" ones is a big plus in my book.......so Iam happy with them ... show more

  • Not very durable
These tools began breaking on the second use. I recognize that they're made of plastic, so I was very careful to avoid chipping them. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to use them as miniature pry bars without breaking them. (I used a metal screwdriver whenever possible to save wear and tear on these tools, but to no avail.) ... show more

  • Work well for many uses
These clip removers work as they should. The plastic give just enough to not snap off, but overall remains rigid for a confident user feel. Being plastic, these might give at stress points over time. However, they are great if you don't want to damage surfaces around the clip as metal clip removers often do. I also use these to remove panel covers on my water cooled PC, which are held on by clips. Easy panel removal with zero damage to the powder coating or paint and a great finger saver. ... show more
