I have had this desk for a week. I waited to write my review so I could use the desk. Right out of the gate I can tell you I love this desk!!! Putting it together was easy. I wanted a standing desk because my body was sore from sitting all day. After one week of combined sitting / standing while working I feel so much better. The desk is very sturdy at any height. So many I looked at said they would wobble when raised high. This one does not! As you can see from the pictures, the desk has plenty of space for lots of stuff. Hi everyone! Some folks had issues with the product having small problems and damage. I think it might be because different companies make it or they've improved how it's made. Mine came in a super strong package, so there was no chance of damage. It was really heavy, and everything was wrapped up well. The desk corners had plastic guards with extra protection. Thick foam was all around, and everything was in a box inside another box. The carbon fiber design looks cool, but it gets fingerprints easily. They're easy to wipe off, though. My desk didn't have the gaming control holder it was supposed to, but I didn't really care since I didn't buy it for that. The instructions mostly had pictures and were good, except the last page could have been split into three steps. There were two important steps missing. First, you put the top together facing down. Then, you build the base of the table. After that, you need to flip the base and put it upside down on the top. The base has a screw that sticks out and would normally hit the underside of the table. There are holes under the table for these screws, two side by side. You need to find the right hole where the screws match up. If you pick the wrong hole, none of the other screws will line up. But it's easy to fix by moving to the next hole. There's also a long L-shaped bracket that goes on the end of the table base and under the table to support an extension. When you line it up right, one of the bolts already in the corner of the table needs to be taken out and put through the L-bracket. There's also an extra machine screw that goes into the L-bracket and fits into the side of the table base, about halfway from front to back. The instructions don't mention these, and I think many people might miss them. It took me about 2 hours to put it all together, and I only used the tools that came with the desk. My first impressions: Pros: - Very sturdy - Bigger than most - Lot's of extras: Cable tray (but no pre-drilled holes for it), phone (?) stand with USB charger, set of cable clips (the ones that you stick onto the table with 1-5 slots), stickers, LED strip, XXL mouse pad - Spares for everything - Carbon surface looks great - Space to the left and right of the frame is the perfect width for your PC(s) - Assembly is not difficult Small cons: - Fingerprint magnet - You need the mouse pad to cover the split in the middle of the table, at least unless you sit far enough to the right to not cross it with your mouse - Gamer style might not be for everyone, especially not business customers - Lowest height is identical to the height of my old Ikea table. So if you are short and are looking for a table that you can lower below the typical table height, look elsewhere - Sometimes you bump into the metal frame below the table. You are losing 1 1/2 inches of space below the table due to the frame. The metallic triangles near the edge are even higher. Only big con: - You can't separate the legs from the metal frame below the table. This means, you have to remove the screws that go into the wood whenever you are moving because it's too heavy to carry. This will wear out the wood eventually. But overall, I'm pretty happy with it so far. ... show more

    • It is a nice desk.... but...
Size: 72 inches - Wing-Shape
So after this desk is put together, It is a very nice desk. Motors on the legs are smooth. Quiet. I like the heights it can adjust to. It is spacious. Those are all very positive things about this desk. My hiccups on this come from how this thing is assembled. It is a pretty straight forward project. Nothing at all is hard about this assembly. It is the choices that were made on how this thing goes together that are very questionable for this desks longevity. For starters, this thing is very very heavy in the box. The top is of course MDF board, so that in itself is heavy. It is in two pieces. The legs form an H pattern. The sides of the H are a little bit thinner, stout but a little thin to my liking but they work none the less.. The top of the desk however is secured to the base by 1/2 inch wood screws you put into pre drilled holes.. Take into consideration this desk at its longests is 72" long and the desk is only 3/4 thick... doesn't instill the highest confidence that the desk is going to be sturdy. Over tighten any of these screws and that is one less thing keeping the top on. What else is interesting is they decided to use this method on the desk top itself, but the small shelves that go on top of the desk are held together by metal threaded inserts and bolts... You would think the desk top would use those and the shelves would have used the small screws. Or both for the top and shelves. I mean to save a few cents on predrill holes vs metal threaded inserts that would have made the top feel a bit more sturdy.. I mean seriously, one good accident on this desk and the top is permanently broken off. If you move this wrong, it will snap it off.. I was ever so careful flipping this desk over from assembling it because I was so afraid it would break. If changes can be made on this desk, please change how the top screws to the base. Threaded metal inserts just like the shelves get and use more stout bolts to secure it. Please. ... show more
