I have wanted a solid center channel speaker for a while, but I took my time because I have been using an entry level Polk Audio CS10. The Polk Audio CS10 is a great speaker for its price, but...it can sound cheap and muffled at times. So, I was looking to upgrade. I decided on the new Klipsch RP-600C Center Channel Speaker. At first, I was hesitant to spring $500 for 1 speaker. But after reviewing the awesome build quality of this speaker I decided to take a chance. I am not an audiophile guy that knows all about acoustics, speaker ranges, etc, but I do know when I hear a quailty sound. And this center channel speaker delivers. For the first time dialogue in movies sounds rich and clean...no muffled sounds any longer. I believe the sound would be even better if my amp was more powerful. So, if you have been just getting by with an entry center channel speaker and looking to upgrade after listening to years of random muffled sounds in movies, treat yourself and your ears. I have a 7.2 surround system. I bought and kept front speakers, surround speakers, 2 subs and front height speakers. I bought and/or returned 6 center speakers. Six! Elac 6.5(absolutely love the elac bookshelf debut 2.0 6.5 btw), Klipsch quad 3.5, ml motion 8i, bowers and wilkins, ect. Then I bought this speaker. I thought initially it was not good and too harsh as others have said. But i broke it in at very loud volume for 5 hours straight. The magic happened and my dreams came true. The tweeter is very prominent. The dialogue is clear and crisp. But the voices are alive and the tones are deep when they should be. The low end response is absolutely amazing. Im blown away. I couldn’t be more pleased the full range and representation of voices is beautiful. This speaker brought my entire system to the perfection ive been seeking both with music and movies at a relatively decent price range i want to cry tears of joy. ... show more

Made well... and now I can hear the dialog. I replaced an older, center speaker and can hear the difference. My current room size, acoustics, and the gear I use, did not justify a $1000 upgrade, nor did it justify a $100 one. Built like a tank. Expect I will use this for quite a long time

Obviously sound is subjective...I moved from a klipsch r25c, to a r52c...then to this. The premiere line is worth the extra money...yes this, well at least to me.... was expensive...but zero regrets. The speaker is large ....Make sure you have the space to fit in your location...

After lots of research, I decided to purchase this speaker as my upgrade to replace my paradigm center speaker. It beats my paradigm speaker in size and clarity, and packs a powerful, clean bass that makes listening a relaxing experience. The highs and mids sound great as well. The aesthetics are typical for Klipsch products: simple but classy. I am loving this new addition and I recommend getting one if you want an excellent sounding system! ... show more
