For the price it is great to get the self leveling cross lines and the plumb spots. It works as described. The only issue i have is that it can only be used in self leveling mode. You can not lock the laser and use the lines in any kind of manual mode. This feature is available of other brands similar models, although they are about $50 more. If you want to use the laser lines to show something that is not level you will need to look for a different one. For the price I do think it is a good purchase but I would recommend spending a little more to be able to lock the lines and position them as needed. Also you will most likely need a tripod to get the most out of the tool or any laser level. ... show more

Bought for work. I use it for a lot of projects. The part I like the most is the storage case. Super durable but also well thought out. The battery storage is huge for me. Most of the time the batteries leak and destroy your laser level which happened to my Bosch. The laser is very accurate and easy to see. I haven’t found a laser levels that does horizontal, vertical and plumb in one that is this nice. ... show more

This is a great laser level! I should have bought it a long time ago, as it makes layout & measuring so much easier AND faster, too! The 'Plumb' spot ability is an added PLUS to the horizontal & vertical cross lines! The only thing it lacks is the ability to lock the pendulum while keeping the red beam 'ON' to layout lines on a diagonal. Unfortunately, locking the pendulum ALSO turns the laser 'OFF'. That's unfortunate, but for my use this fits the bill! It works great in daylight both inside the house & outside on sunny days, although not in direct intense sunlight. NO COMPLAINTS whatsoever! It is 'self-leveling' AND the pendulum 'locks' for secure transport & it's all in a great plastic case! I've combined its use with the laser measuring device also made by KLEIN while working on my projects like laying floor planking, installing a fireplace, installing patio doors to replace existing windows & doors and building a deck outside the rear of out home? First one I had shipped was broken. Second one I had shipped might as well have been broken! Really surprised at the lack of quality, and brightness. Figured it was a Klein Tool, so it would kick ass… not the case. Returned and refunded… Amazon made that easy.

I bought this for doing plumbing work, thinking that I would only use it sparingly... I was wrong. This little laser is so helpful to keep straight lines, and speed up installations. Easy to see, Love the fact that it's rechargeable, I'm tired of wasting money on batteries. Only negative thing that I've found so far is the handle of the carrying case is not comfortable to grab...not a big enough issue to make me put it anything less that 5 stars, since the laser does its job perfectly. ... show more
