Quality & Durability: The wooden pieces are smooth, well-sanded, and painted with bright, non-toxic colors that don’t chip easily. The construction feels sturdy, and even with daily use, it has held up well to rough toddler play. Educational Value: This kit covers a wide range of early learning skills — fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and even color and shape recognition. As an occupational therapy practitioner, it warmed my heart to see my Godson's daughter engage in play when she first opened it at her 1st birthday party! With modeling, she was able to imitate movements to complete the activities, with the exception of the coin task (which is the hardest to complete for visual motor skills). She also didn't understand why the carrots didn't go in, when everything else did. Hehe. But her fingertip grasp was excellent, pulling them out of the "garden!" And she did try to eat the carrot. Hehe Sizes of pieces were good for grasp, and variable in size for increasing fine motor skills. Nothing seemed like a choking hazard, but interactive play is always best, so supervision should be present anyway 🤷🏽 everything seemed well made and solid, with smooth and sturdy quality wood. Cons(ish): It would've been nice to have a magnetic "fishing" component, like in other similar Montessori toys, but it useful and fun with the activities included. She played with the clock face, but obviously time-telling is a bit above typical toddler aged skills. So something else more age appropriate on that side would've been better, in my opinion. The one thing that was frustrating was the gap in the "railing" in when the ball comes out of the box. The gap is big enough that the balls can roll out. So if you're playing with it on a tabletop surface, you might have to go fetch for the balls rolling away! Overall, a very good, age appropriate choice for most one year olds, in my opinion!

I absolutely love this Montessori toy! So many different ways to play. It’s the perfect size for travel. The colors are bright and perfect for learning. My 8 month old is loving exploring this toy. It feels durable and well made. My only concern is the paint shedding on the peg board as seen in the pictures. I don’t want my son ingesting the shedding, so I probably won’t let him play with that part until he’s out of the putting everything in his mouth phase.

I’m so impressed with this Montessori toy set! The quality of the wood is excellent—smooth edges, non-toxic paint, and feels very sturdy. My baby loves the variety of activities included; it keeps them engaged for long stretches, and I can see how it’s helping with fine motor skills and problem-solving. Very good learning you for the price. Pieces are not too small for the little one. Keeps him busy for hours. I brought it when my son was 1 1/2 and is still standing up almost 1 1/2 later.

Great toy starting 6 months and up, they start learning shapes and how to place stuff in small spaces, like the carrot in the holes and the shapes where. They belongs, my daughter love to place the ball in because of the noise that makes her happy, and to picks the carrots, the sizes are perfect, and they are easy to use she plays with it every day, since is very functional I come out with different ideas of how to play with it.

This toy is adorable in theory and definitely eye-catching for babies! My 7-month-old is most interested in the carrot harvest part and will happily pull the carrots out over and over, which makes this set feel worth it for now! The overall size is smaller than I expected, which is good for little hands but also makes it feel a bit less substantial. Pros: - Very cute design and colors - Compact size makes it easy to set on the floor or high chair - Carrot harvest is great for grasping and hand-eye coordination - Introduces early Montessori concepts like object permanence, sorting, and cause-and-effect - Lightweight enough to toss in a diaper bag for travel Cons: - Wood feels thin and lightweight - Durability seems questionable long-term - Some pieces don’t feel as solid as higher-quality wooden toys - Smaller size makes it feel a little cheap overall This is a cute, educational toy that works well for short play sessions and early developmental skills, especially for babies who love pulling things out (the carrots are the star here). It’s small and travel-friendly, but the lightweight wood makes me unsure how it’ll hold up with rough toddler play.
