  • Perfect Montessori Toy for Baby: Simple, Safe, and Educational
I recently purchased a wooden Montessori toy for my baby, and I am extremely impressed with both its design and educational benefits. The toy is made from high-quality, smooth wood that feels sturdy and safe for little hands to explore. I love that it's free from any harmful chemicals, ensuring that it's perfect for my baby to chew on as they learn. The simplicity of the toy is what stands out the most. It encourages open-ended play and allows my baby to explore different textures, shapes, and colors without the distractions of flashing lights or loud sounds. It's designed to support developmental milestones like hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, and I’ve already noticed my baby trying to grasp and manipulate the toy with increasing skill. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it also fits perfectly with the Montessori philosophy of promoting independent, self-directed learning. It's a great addition to our playtime, and I feel confident knowing it's not just a toy, but a tool for development. Highly recommended for parents looking for sustainable, thoughtful, and engaging toys for their little ones! ... show more

  • Fantastic toy for pre-readiness skills!
As an occupational therapy practitioner, it warmed my heart to see my Godson's daughter engage in play when she first opened it at her 1st birthday party! With modeling, she was able to imitate movements to complete the activities, with the exception of the coin task (which is the hardest to complete for visual motor skills). She also didn't understand why the carrots didn't go in, when everything else did. Hehe. But her fingertip grasp was excellent, pulling them out of the "garden!" And she did try to eat the carrot. Hehe Sizes of pieces were good for grasp, and variable in size for increasing fine motor skills. Nothing seemed like a choking hazard, but interactive play is always best, so supervision should be present anyway 🤷🏽 everything seemed well made and solid, with smooth and sturdy quality wood. Cons(ish): It would've been nice to have a magnetic "fishing" component, like in other similar Montessori toys, but it useful and fun with the activities included. She played with the clock face, but obviously time-telling is a bit above typical toddler aged skills. So something else more age appropriate on that side would've been better, in my opinion. The one thing that was frustrating was the gap in the "railing" in when the ball comes out of the box. The gap is big enough that the balls can roll out. So if you're playing with it on a tabletop surface, you might have to go fetch for the balls rolling away! Overall, a very good, age appropriate choice for most one year olds, in my opinion! ... show more

  • Favorite toy but beware!
My granddaughter and I play with this everyday. The different sizes and shapes definitely help with dexterity and fine motor skills. Be advised though- the small wooden dowels on the lid that hold those shaped pieces can come off . My granddaughter got one off and had it in her mouth. Luckily I was with her and got it from her right away and glued it back in. Just beware! ... show more

  • Little one loves it
This toy is very helpful for my little ones fingers. Easy to store in her toy bin. Worth the price almost a year later and the durability is great. Colors are super bright and easy for my little one to identify her colors.

  • Buy it!! I’m in love
This is such a great quality item for baby! I wasn’t expecting much because the price was low compared to other Montessori style wooden toys but this is amazing!! My baby is 9 months old so can’t really play with it too much yet but she is still very interested with all of the peices. I would recommend this for your baby and it would make the perfect gift ... show more

  • Playing while learning
One of the best toy I ever bought for my son. He’s been playing with this since he was six months old. He’s learned cognitive and motor skills. Easy to use and easy to store.

  • Love it but it’s complicated
It’s definitely not for a little one to do by themselves because switching the wooden plates is a little challenging. Once switched though, it’s a great activity for kids. Wish it had better storage because we lose these pieces allll the time.
