Love this dishrack. The drain and little gutter work so good. It is holding up well to regular use and abuse. I like that it extends and frankly I haven’t used it smaller. The extend tray is perfect for glass and cups, the wire rack for plates and pots and pans. I really love that this drains so efficient on its own and self cleans the way it does. No more gross film that builds up!! I haven’t had to clean this one nearly as much as a standard tray which is a true pleasure to use it for. It also looks much nicer. Completely rust resistant since most of it is hard plastic but it is designed really well so it all fits together snug but with movement so it’s very flexible. It’s also very stable and stays perfectly in place. I think this is the best dish rack I’ve ever had.

The cup holder is quite small. Another issue is the size when expanded. It stretches out to a full 26 inches, but my counter is only 24 inches deep, so I have to turn it sideways to take full advantage of the space. It would’ve been great if it could expand in the opposite direction or had adjustable orientation. Despite of these small drawbacks, this rack truly feels worth the price. It is very large which is what I wanted. It's better than those dish racks you get at walmart. It holds up to quite a bit of pots and pans. I like that it drains into the sink and doesn't make a mess. It is exactly as pictured for color. I have not noticed any rust. I would say it's worth the price.

I needed this design because in my apartment, the sink is higher than the counter top. I needed another inch and bought furniture risers to add height to the legs of this unit. The full expanded length of the unit is an exact fit to the length between the sink and the wall. So I am using the unit with the full expansion. It is very versatile but doesn't work like the standard dish rack design. Specifically, the sides aren't tall enough to support large plates that have about an inch or more depth. I have to find new ways to organize things, but when I do, everything works great. The draining system drains the water very efficiently and it's all directed into the sink gradually via one narrow spout. That makes things very neat. Also the tray at the bottom moves from side to side slightly. It can be retracted so that it can slant more to drain water. Then move it back up flat. It was difficult to figure out how to assemble it, but once that was done, it was fine. The instructions should be larger on larger paper with a larger number of detailed diagrams. In sum, buying this really made everything more neat and well-organized for this situation, where the sink is higher than the counter top, and it drains the water efficiently and neatly. So I am very happy with the product.

I have using this for two weeks now. Long enough to know the pros and cons. I will give an overall rating of THREE STARS because the size is a large capacity, although I still have to use the drying mat I purchased for larger items. The reason it won’t get more than a three star rating … the glass holder frankly sucks. It only fits three glasses even though it has four places. I refuse to use it for cups/glasses because as you can see - it isn’t sturdy to hold them unless you put it on the side which defeats the purpose and water gets on the counter. I have knocked it over with glasses on it. It works better for cutting boards but then again - water on the counter. Second reason it only gets three stars - the only way plates stay upright like they are supposed to is in the middle section. I read a review that the customer stated to just turn the plates around so they stay upright - LOL - nice idea but it still doesn’t work. I had a plate fall over so I only put them in the middle of the rack. I wanted to love this because we cook a lot and have plenty of dishes to wash. I am definitely DISAPPOINTED. I am curious how often products get tested by real people before releasing them but why would they care.

Exactly what I was looking for in a replacement dish drying rack. Couldn't find anything close to this with a hard drain pan in the store and the family leaves a puddle after washing dishes, so those clothes turn to mildew ridden just real quick, this thing is great, you can set the drain spot in any of the four main directions and it does extend sufficiently past the pan and over the sink so you can place the feet of the rack away from the sink too a bit. The extra pull out space is a nifty feature, it assembles rather simply. The utensil holder is a nice to have as well especially the slots cut specifically for knives to go blade down and they hold in place so it's harder to accidentally bump one loose when you're going back and forth placing dishes. All in all happy with this purchase.
