I have two of these in my 2019 ram 2500 and they were really easy to install. I love how easy they are to take out also, just swing out and lift off. BUTT they’re made of plastic and I feel like I’m going to break them every time I use them or put something next to them in the truck. I absolutely love how this fits the truck bed. But I absolutely hate that the box drops as soon as you release it and I struggle to get it latched again. It’s extremely inconvenient for a truck bed cover because it’s in the way of latching the cover down. So you have to release it, latch the cover then lay on your back under the cover to latch it. The toolbox is solid and well made. Outside of that the brackets were chipped, bracket wouldn’t attach greatly using the lag screws, and the box wouldn’t latchZ I knew once I saw the brackets something seemed off. I removed it and sent it back.

Latch and rod broke with 1 week of install. Its loaded with maybe 15lbs so no where near capacity. Would not recommend.

I was so excited to get these for my pickup truck, but what a disappointment it was! For one thing, I’m a contractor, but it was complicated even for me to install. Another issue is the poor quality of these storage boxes. Made of very thin plastic that can easily be broken, so I absolutely do not feel safe leaving my tools in there. In short, basically these storage boxes are a total waste of money… I guarantee you will regret purchasing them; especially since they’re quite pricey! Stay away from this product. ... show more

    • Seriously incredible how horrible this is.
For oneits extremely light duty compared go others i have seen, it definitely won’t even slow anyone down from breaking in. I have installed these in previous trucks and had no problems. Its feels like its about to break off the mounts and its barely loaded. Its past the 30 day return window so i guess its a loss. Stay away from this brand, they do have solid ones i have seen and used.it should say 5 pound capacity. These are so cheap amd flimsy it’s not a surprise they won’t return it ... show more

So I bought two of those for my truck . Assembly was easy and the design was nice but that’s where it ends . One of the units broke after two months and just a little past the Amazon return window. I contacted Amazon and received a partial refund . Totally annoyed with the product .
