I am a 46 year old woman with combination skin. Unfortunately, when I was young I did not wear sunblock on my face and now have many dark spots. In addition to that, I have redness all over my face from rosacea. I have used many products in the past in an attempt to lighten my dark spots but nothing has worked. When I came across the Kitsch gentle exfoliating glycolic acid pads that include cica I was intrigued. I currently use makeup products with cica to help reduce the redness in my face. The tub comes with 50 pads and a pop top that makes them easy to access. Tweezers to retrieve the pads are mounted on the top of the lid and there is a seal to ensure that they have not been tampered with. After washing my face I take a pad and massage it in circles around my face which produces a light lather. I let the lather set for approximately one to two minutes and then wash my face with warm water. Afterwards, my skin feels clean with no leftover residue. The pads are very gentle and there is no harsh stinging or burning. After using the pads I go about my normal skin care routine and make sure to use SPF if I am going out for the day. I haven't use the Kitsch gentle exfoliating glycolic acid pads for long enough to see a difference in my dark spots but I do notice that they have helped calm down the redness in my face. Overall I'm very impressed with this product and its price.

These are some fantastic exfoliating pads! The ingredient list is super premium, but there are also quite a few irritants. While I always appreciate the use of essential oils, this one has quite a few. It contains peppermint, sage, lavender, and lemon extracts, all of which carry their own risks, so that is just something to note. Lemon is a particularly interesting choice since it can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays and may possibly worsen dark spots, so it is a bit strange to see that in a formula that aims to reduce dark spots. I did experience a bit of irritation, probably from all the essential oils, but that does not mean everyone else will. It really depends person to person. That said, it is still a fantastic product in my opinion. The kojic acid helps fade dark spots and reduce acne over time, the turmeric root powder is anti inflammatory so it helps brighten, and the Centella Asiatica is considered a top tier skin repair ingredient since it boosts collagen and soothes skin. If you have not tried Centella Asiatica before, I cannot recommend it enough. It is fantastic with any type of acid product. The pads leave my skin feeling soft, clean, and just overall really nice, and they even seem to help with breakouts in my experience. They have definitely helped clean up some blackhead issues I was having, so they feel very effective for a lot of different skin concerns. Overall, given the reasonable price, I think this is a steal. I highly recommend it, but I would definitely suggest starting slow just to make sure it does not irritate your skin.

I received the Kojic Acid pads and not the Glycolic Acid pads, but I have to say, I absolutely LOVE them. They have little tweezers built into the lid, making grabbing a pad (without potentially contaminating them all) a snap. The pads themselves are nice and thick with a great texture. You use these on wet skin, rubbing in a circular motion to create a slight lather, then you rinse. I love the way these make my skin feel; very very clean. So far, I've already noticed some fading of a couple of dark spots on my face, so it definitely works! While I do wish I'd gotten the glycolic version, this one works so good and again, I just absolutely adore how clean my skin feels when I use these.

I love this brand and have always enjoyed using their products. These glycolic acid exfoliating pads are no exception—they’re gentle, effective, and well-formulated. You get both chemical exfoliation from the glycolic acid and a mild physical exfoliation from the cotton pad itself. I have sensitive skin, and I’ve had no irritation at all. I use these on my face and also on the backs of my upper arms to help with Keratosis pilaris, and over time they’ve really helped smooth the texture. One pad is enough for both areas—face first, then arms—so even with daily use, the 50-count jar lasts about 1.5 months. I use them every other day, which gives me a full 3 months per jar. They also come with tweezers for easy and sanitary use. Overall, this is a gentle yet effective addition to any skincare routine.

These pre-soaked pads are so easy and convenient! I love them so much I have one for home and keep a spare in my gym bag. Using these is simple. You work each pad around the desired area, then allow the solution to sit on the skin for a couple of minutes before rinsing. The formula is gentle enough for use on face and body and has definitely reduced the number of blemishes I get. The pads help remove oil, sweat, dirt, and dead skin, leaving behind smooth, rejuvenated and happy skin. My sensitive skin feels soothed after use and experiences no irritation or redness. You get 50 pre-soaked pads in each jar. Highly recommend!

I had a good experience using these cleansing pads by Kitsch. I've used several of their other products before and liked them, so I was looking forward to trying this one. The jar is sealed and comes with little tongs to help remove the pads from the container. The pads are wet but not overly soaked. There is a light scent that I didn't mind too much. The directions state to rub the pad over your face for a few moments to create lather, then allow the product to sit on your face for a few minutes and rinse. I did so and then followed up with my usual serum. My skin did feel somewhat exfoliated, but also a bit tight, so I had to follow my serum up with an additional moisturizer. I plan to use these every few days or so to keep my skin from becoming dull. They're definitely worth a try.
