I needed a second pepper mill to grind dried papaya seeds which I really like on some dishes. This mill does a great job. The cover also keeps dust from collecting. The burr is plastic of some sort, but it appears to be high impact and not acting like it is over worked. Dry some papaya seeds and see if you like the flavor. ... show more
