A premium 5 grade adjustable ceramic rotor is integrated in these cute salt and pepper dispensers that allows you to grind pink himalayan salts and white sea salts, black pepper corns or other spices to the coarseness you are aiming for - from coarse to fine. Turn the black knob on top of the shaker, hold on to the steel section and twist the glass body. To maintain the freshness of your grounded spices, each pepper mill grinder comes with a lid with a strong rubber seal, that also keeps both dust and moisture out. Thoughtful design combined with premium quality: Thanks to the grind sitting on top of the glass base, your spices won’t leak and leave a mess on your table. These grinders work well. What I like most about them is that they they have glass bases. Once empty I will be able to clean the glass inside without that film that is left on plastic ones over time.. I have multiple grinders wooden, plastic, and these are my favorites. Great grinder set but one arrived with the grinder broken and I had already thrown away the box so I can’t return. One works great, went to use the second one and it won’t grind anything, tried pepper corns and course salt without success. Good thing they were cheap so I’m not out much. I like the design, shape of the bottles and ease of turning the top to grind things. Won’t replace as this set was for multi-color peppercorns and pink salt, more of an extra set. ... show more

My husband and I bought this set awhile back and since purchase they have functioned just as they should. The sleek and modern style means I don't mind leaving them on my kitchen counter as well. When our son moved out recently we gave this set to him. We were lured by the ease of the automatic grinding salt and pepper set so bought those-what a huge mistake! The shakers run out of power so quickly and then you are stuck not being able to get any salt or pepper until they are recharged. It was then we decided to go back to the manual salt and pepper shakers and there was no question in my mind we would just get another set of the ones that had already worked so dependably. We did have one issue with a grinder so I reached out to customer service. They responded right away and resolved the issue going above and beyond what we expected. I was very excited to find such a nice looking set of salt and pepper grinders with such high reviews. I have had my set for about 3 1/2 months. I needed to replace a set that was several years old and getting worn. I was highly anticipating using these for many months. Unfortunately, the plastic inside the actual grinder broke due to not being durable enough. I am not a large, strong person with big hands and yet after only 3 1/2 months of use, the plastic inside has not been able to withstand what it was made for - grinding. I now have a working salt grinder but my pepper grinder is no longer usable. As a widow, my spending habits have changed drastically but I still value quality - even if that means spending a little more - in order to supply lasting items for my children. I am very disappointed that I will have to look yet again for a pepper grinder. ... show more
