I am guessing the people who left those bad reviews were using the wrong type of butter to sit side by side... They must have been using regular sticks instead of those skinny long sticks because this thing is exactly the size that it says and shows. I love it. I also agree with how strong the seal is... I took picked it up from the lid and it remained closed. Perfect to keep pests out ... show more

This butter dish is exactly what I was looking for in my new dish. It had both teaspoon and tablespoon markers on the sides of the dish. The only thing I would change would be to have those markers colored instead of the same white as the base for easier ability to see. The dish seals nicely.
