I just put these scrapers to the test! I made 6 cookie batters for the holidays. These scrapers worked like a charm! I was easily able to scoop huge amounts from my mixer bowl. I didn't fear them snapping or breaking. They are super sturdy! I have ran them through the dishwasher too. They came out fine. Bought this set primarily for the silicone bowl scraper. The bowl scraper is a good size - nice and wide, easy to hold, with a stiff core and silicone exterior - a nice extension of my own hand (as opposed to a long handled spatula) when scraping dough out of any size bowl. The straight edge on the bowl scraper is, I think, intended as a bench scraper. However, the silicone edge gives a bit, so I still prefer my full metal bench scraper which scrapes the working surface very cleanly. The smaller, nylon scraper is good for getting residue off of pots and pans. It is actually a little larger than my standard Fox Run type ubiquitous scraper. ... show more

This is a perfect set for me. The pot scraper has been great for cleaning dishes and the flexible one is exactly what I wanted when baking. I use the flex one a lot because I can use it to clean out my mixing bowls or just to scrape down the sides when making dough. It's also great for pushing flour off my dough board. My board is plastic & has small pores. This would probably totally clean a smoother board. The flexible one is "Goldilocks" flexible & bends just enough to work with dough and scraping down the insides of round bowls but not so much that it's useless. The small one is really kind of hard. I have used it mostly for cleaning and washing our pots. I haven't tried it with my cast iron yet because I usually clean those pots while they are still super hot. I have NOT tested either of these with heat. I also like that they are very easy to clean - especially the bowl scraper. This was a good buy for the price and the overall value, I wasn't sure how good either of these was going to be but I'm more than happy. ... show more

My favorite one of these is the light blue silicone one because of the material it is made of (silicone) and its sturdy enough to use on bread baking. I can use it in the mixing bowl to scrape the flour into the mix. I can use it to scrape the dough into a holding container. Very good purchase. I do not use the plastic one and to be honest, I don't even know where it is! ... show more

I make a lot of bread, and I needed something to scrape the sourdough in particular. Anyone who makes sourdough knows how darn sticky it is, and it practically turns into concrete if you leave it on the dish too long. These little scrapers are great! The grey one is stiff, and the blue one has a little bit of flexibility just at the edges. But it scrapes out the bowls with ease, and they come clean with just a spray of water or little swipe of a sponge. They're also a little larger than expected. LOVE these! ... show more
