Quality material and functional.
Color: Blue Velvet
I love the color of these and they are made with quality stitching. I have used them for a few weeks now and the heat has not gone through like with some. Even with a broiler pan. I also like that they are bigger for my husband's hands. I had a small pair with worked great for me, but not him. I would recommend them.

Prevents Slipping and Burns
Color: Fire Red
UPDATE - 08/22/2024 Removing the finger stitching from one glove didn't make any difference when using. These pads are good, but use caution when handling really hot pans. I use my cast iron pans in a hot over, 400 to 420 degrees, and find these pads allow heat to penetrate quickly. Use caution if you are cooking at high temps, or get a thicker pad. So far I really like these hot pads. They prevent slipping when handling a heavy, cast iron pan hot from the the oven. I can feel the warmth, but it prevents the heat from reaching my hands. At first I found it awkward to slip my hands inside the glove. I have gotten used to that, and the mitts have gotten more flexible from use. Since they are mitts and my hand is inside, it protects the top of my hand as well. I am not sure the stitched finger divider is needed, so I carefully removed the stitching from one mitt to try it out. If I like it better I will remove the stitching from the other mitt. They are much more heat resistant than my old double terry cloth hot pads. Still evaluating the mitt construction instead of a glove construction with a thumb. I want to try the glove version of this hot pad, but am concerned about the reviews stating the stitching comes loose.

High-Quality Pot Holders with a Subtle, Neutral Color
Color: Gray
I recently purchased the KitchenAid Asteroid Pot Holder 2-Pack Set in Grey, and I've been very pleased with their performance. These pot holders are of excellent quality, living up to the high standards I've come to expect from KitchenAid products. The material is durable and well-stitched, providing reliable protection from heat when handling hot pots and pans. They are the perfect size at 6.5"x10", fitting comfortably in my hands without being too bulky. The texture also offers a good grip, reducing the risk of accidental slips. One thing to note is that the color is a bit lighter than I anticipated based on the product images. However, this lighter grey is still a versatile, neutral shade that blends well with most kitchen decor. It adds a subtle, sophisticated touch to my kitchen. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend the KitchenAid Asteroid Pot Holder 2-Pack Set to anyone in need of reliable and stylish pot holders. They are a great addition to any kitchen and offer the quality and functionality you can trust.

Not necessarily the best for big hands, but work for the rest of my family.
Color: Blue Willow
I found the quality of these mits to be wonderful. This is the reason for the four stars. I took off one star for specific issues related to me that may not be issues for other. I have fairly large hands so they were a little small for me. They work great for my wife and kids. I also did not like the oval shape. It was difficult to get a good grip at times with this specific shape. Again, this probably had a lot to do with my hand size. My wife and kids have no complaints. I use them like old school oven mits and don't try to insert my hands into the slots. A GREAT selection of colors.

Another great KitchenAid Product
Color: Pistachio Green
This is the second set of Kitchen Aid Pot Holders I have ordered. I love the feel, functionality and colors of these holders. They are the perfect thickness and don't slip when I am taking heavy pans out of the oven or using them on the counter to rest a hot pan or plate on. I have had a pair in my first kitchen for years and got this pair for my new house with a different kitchen color scheme. The color is beautiful.
