My wife loved the potholders she inherited from her grandmother, but over time they got stained and worn. Periodically I'd bring new ones home, but they never got the nod of approval because they weren't thick enough or had enough coverage. So I wen looking for ones that matched the weight and shape of her old ones, in her favorite color...and these did the trick. Im not sure what it is about these because pot holders seem very standard but I love these! perfectly sized so you can wear as a basic mitt or not. the little grippies (for lack of better terms) prevent slippage and these guys are tough! they are easy to clean and dont wear down as easily as some other products ... show more

These work great. I have used them on stuff that was under the 500F broiler with no issue. They are a little grippy on the side with the silicone dots, but I wouldn't consider it problematic. You can put your hands in them, there is a small divided section that almost doesn't make sense, but it isn't detrimental in anyway. I bought two sets and I am happy with them. I haven't had to wash them yet, so not sure on durability after being run through the wash. ... show more

Got these for around $5 a set and they work well. Not sure why pot holders/ oven mitts have gotten so expensive. But these are nice. Soft durable fabric on one side and small silicone nubs in a pattern on the other. There is even a pocket for the hand to protect the back of the hand against bumping the oven rack or sides while pulling something out. It's just a nice design for an otherwise basic oven trivet/mitt. And usually Kitchen Aid is a brand mark of quality. Time will tell. Also got there other style with full silicone ribs on one side. I use these because they seem the easiest for grabbing. They last about 6 months for me in my busy kitchen, and they are reasonably priced. They never fall apart, I just end up burning them or something! I like all the color choices, too.

I love these pot holders. They are a great size and protect your hands well from hot pots or pans. They also work nicely as a trivet for hot things also. I toss them into my washer when they need to be cleaned and they wash up nicely.
