I recently purchased a set of two of these shears to replace another brand with a broken handle for my spouse. Upon receiving them and unpacking them from the display plastic, we found that the grip was significantly larger than her previous shears, and not as comfortable for her hands. They work very well for me, nonetheless, and she said that she will make use of them. I discovered later that the same company sells a set of 3 shears for smaller hands. This is the second time I have bought these scissors, they are great! I just use them in the kitchen, I would say after about a year and a half they do start to get pretty dull which is why I bought a new pair. I tried sharpening but I didn’t think they worked as great

I love these. They are extremely sharp that I can cut a thick steak with it. I can’t complain. It was cheap and it came in a pair. I’ve been using them for different things around the house, specially in the kitchen. It’s been 2 months and they are still as sharp as when I first got them.

I bought these to replace the blue Ikea kitchen sheers. I should have done this a long time ago. Those things are the worst! I love using these every time I go to grab them. Would love some with a smaller handle only for the fact that they store better and aren't so big.

As soon as I received these Kitchen Shears I put them to the test. Both sheers felt good in my small, petite hand, cut easily and cleanly. I tried them on raw, boneless chicken breasts and thighs, cooked chicken, raw meat, raw fish, raw bacon, fresh herbs, cutting up canned, whole tomatoes while still in the can, parchment paper, to open frozen veggie bags, raw yeast dough and hot pizza. I relegated the black one for raw poultry exclusively and the red and black one for miscellaneous. (A little tip... is to oil the blades prior to handling anything sticky, like raw dough and hot pizza - helps a lot). I knew these shears would NOT cut through thick chicken bones as what is needed to do so are proper poultry shears (which I do have). As an added bonus, these shears are light weight, easy to store as each comes with a cover to protect the blade ...GENIUS!! I am just a tad disappointed that they don't come apart for ease in cleaning, but all the other attributes make up for that. After each use, I hand wash, towel dry, and leave them open on the counter a short while to be assured they are completely dry before putting them away. I will not wash these in the dishwasher. I use these sheers daily and honestly reach for them constantly. The price is amazing for the two and an added bonus ---I bought them on sale!!! ... show more

I bought these largely because they came with sheaths and had good reviews. I am very pleased with them as the sheath locks onto the center pin of the shears so it can't fall off. The shears arrive nice and sharp, so they're ready to go. We've been using them for a few months now and there are no signs of wear. Very pleased! ... show more
