I have found that I love wearing an apron for multiple tasks. Who knew?! If you had asked me when I was younger, I would not have been caught dead in an apron...or a minivan. Yet here I am, 2 for 2. Anyway, the obvious reason for wearing an apron is while cooking or baking to protect my clothes. For whatever reason, I tend to hold bowls against my chest when mixing or pouring which means I have managed to obliterate a shirt or two with food stains, which can get pricey. I also tend to follow recipes on my phone while I am cooking, but I tend to set my cell phone down. Nothing is more frustrating than misplacing your phone in the middle of a recipe! Wearing an apron has solved that problem. And the pockets on this apron are deep enough to put my cell phone in which has really helped me out in a pinch! (of salt - HA!) However, I have found that I also love wearing an apron for gardening - it also protects my clothes, and the pockets are really helpful for hanging onto my seeds and my phone, otherwise I have been known to set both down and lose them. (There is a recurring lost cell phone issue in case you cannot tell.) I also love wearing an apron for wrapping gifts during the holidays. Neither my tape, gift tags, gift list nor my cell phone (Again with the cell phone.) can escape me any longer. I have found that aprons can be a little hard to find sometimes and the cute ones can be pricey. Also, in my opinion, they run small and if you have a larger chest, the bib of the apron does not always cover what you need to be covered. However, this double‑sided adjustable bib apron has quickly become my go‑to for everything when I want to wear an apron. At first, I was apprehensive about the material, because it feels "slick". This apron is never going to look "crisp", but that's ok because the material washes incredibly well and comes out of the dryer looking basically new every time. The adjustable neck clip is a small detail that makes a huge difference. Instead of wrestling with awkward ties, which in my opinion are never long enough, I can get the perfect fit in seconds. The waist tie is also longer than most, again, a detail I appreciate. So, this apron is not just suitable for a woman, it is also sized appropriately for a man who also likes to protect his clothes when performing messy tasks. It is also not frilly, so it is absolutely gender neutral. That being said, if you are petite or if you were hoping this would fit an older child, I think it will be too big. I like this enough that I am going to iron my monogram on both sides. I would have it embroidered but that won't work since it is double sided. The construction is good and the seams are finished well. The design is well thought out as evidenced with the deeper pockets, longer ties and neck clip. The designer clearly gave this design thought. And the price point is CRAZY afforable - so much so, that it would be reasonable to purchase two. That way you have a backup apron when the first one is in the wash. It’s comfortable, durable, and genuinely useful — exactly what an apron should be. If you want something that works hard as hard as you do without looking worn out, this one is the whole enchilada!

I ordered this apron for spring gardening. I love the reversible back on white and white on black stripe. It is cute and the material is thin enough to keep you from overheated in this wilting southern weather. It has pockets so I can stop misplacing my pruners and gloves. The best part is the value! Currently 8.99 as I type this. It’s a nice quality and I really like it. Plus it looks cute on. Win. Win.

I got this to protect my clothes while working with paint, resin, and other crafts and it's really nice. The material is on the thinner side but sturdy, more water resistant than absorbent, you can adjust it at the neck and around the waste, and the pockets double as extra padding between you and the mess.

Great reversible apron, especially for $10! The double-sided design is really nice since you essentially get two looks in one, and both sides have a clean, classic striped style that looks great in the kitchen. The fabric feels comfortable and breathable, and the adjustable neck strap makes it easy to get a good fit. I also appreciate the two front pockets, which are handy for things like a phone, utensils, or recipe cards while cooking. Simple, practical, and surprisingly nice for the price. Highly recommend!

I’m a messy cook, so this reversible apron is a genius find for under $10. It’s basically two looks in one: a black side for hiding pasta sauce splatters and a white side that’s perfect for baking days. The adjustable neck strap doesn't dig in, and the waist ties are actually long enough to wrap around and tie in the front like a pro. With deep pockets on both sides, it’s stylish, functional, and has held up great in the wash!

The media could not be loaded. I am reviewing the XLXEXCL kitchen cooking apron. I like the double sided option. However, I will always use the black side so it doesn’t show the mess. The material is more of a smooth polyester feel. I honestly don’t believe the apron is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. It feels more like 80 % polyester and 20% cotton. It is a mid to light weight apron. I have a waist of 30” and I can tie it around my waist and back to the front. If your waist is any bigger you won’t have enough tie it in the front. But you could always tie it in the back.
