These came fresh, but I did order them in February. We have a difficult time finding these where I live. My wife loves them so I wanted to get some for her for Valentine's Day. This was the most logical source. I thought the price was fair given the shopping was free with Prime.

When it comes to chocolate, well, sometimes I just can't tolerate it. Other times I miss it & look for a way to satisfy that craving. I have eaten KIT KAT bars a lot, because of what I said above, the chocolate is creamy & the wafers add a crunch & to me balance out the taste of the chocolate. Sometimes chocolate can be chalky, [esp. in drinkable items] - not the case here. This dark chocolate flavor is new to me - & I like it. I bought these for my husband’s lunch box, but some of them didn’t make it that far. Delicious! I don’t like milk chocolate, so these are perfect for me. Now that we’ve had these longer, and a few more turned magically into dessert for me, I’d like to say that these dark chocolate KitKats are even better than the first time I tried one.
