I love this Olive Oil. I hated having to go to Costco to purchase it. Now that it's available on Amazon, I am a happy camper. My deliveries have been without issue. No crushed bottles; no leakage; perfect. So flavorful and I am confident, that it is 100% Organic Olive Oil---and UNDILUTED with cheap oils, like so many name brands are these days. Highly recommended.

This olive oil is good quality from Kirkland even though the item does not match the website description that says "first cold pressed". It is rather "cold extracted". The fact that an item doesn't match advertised description is concerning. I guess it has become the norm for consumers not to entirely trust olive oil and honey producers these days as it is really hard to know if their product is 100% pure. More than 20 years ago, we had a more than 5000 lbs of black olives we cured in our house, in the Middle East, and my father decided to turn the olives into olive oil instead of selling them as just olives because it was more lucrative. It was one of the popular local businesses to buy raw olives in tons, cure them at home, and then sell them to stores. The olive oil we made and sold was noticeably "thicker" than the types available in the market apparently because we never added anything to it.

When I first ordered this oil a few years ago I was skeptical because the price was too good and this is made from California olives if I'm not mistaken. When it first arrived I very pleasantly surprised with the quality and the taste. Now, it's the only olive oil I buy. I use it on everything. I make my own vinaigrette and use it on salads and sandwiches instead of mayonnaise. My family has been making olive oil in Greece for probably centuries. I have tasted the best of the best and this oil is exceptional. I only wish it came in tins and not plastic. Just be careful to keep it out of the light & away from heat and don't overheat it if you're cooking with it.

Kirkland Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been cited in many a publication for being the "sleeper olive oil". The real McCoy. Beats known popular competitors in flavor, cookability, yet has a bargain basement price. I've probably ordered ten of these over the years. ALL SMILES
