What you should Love about KIRKs Castile Soap that it works will and creates sudds in any type of water. I used it as a teenager for a gentile face cleanser (46 years ago), traveled with me around the world and I still use the soap today. I keep a bar at work for stubborn dirt and grease, in my shower for everyday use. It won't dry out your skin. There is more of a neutral scent. You will have to try it, to see what I am writing about, you will not be disappointed.

I came across this soap a couple of years ago. I like how it foams up nicely and a little goes a long way. It's easy to overdo it when applying. It smells OK and I like that it rinses easily and cleanly, leaving a very light fragrance, hardly any. I prefer the squeaky clean feeling after rinsing. My wife won't use it so that's another advantage for me, haha. When my grandkids stay over they always ask "Where is that kirks soap"?

Good soap. Rinses clean, no oily nasty lotion residue. I can't stand modern soap and washes. I hate the residue feeling afterwards. I can use whatever I want to moisturize, or nothing, after showering. I've used this soap as long as I can remember bathing myself. My dad only used this soap, and I'm the same way. It can be a bit harsh if you're not used to it. But the clean is awesome.

I don't lose sleep over it, but I prefer not to be bathed, (literally), in chemicals. Look it up online, but this a non-harmful soap to life and limb; It's an alkaline soap of course, to be able to clean properly so the higher PH could cause irritation for some. Through research, I found this soap as a replacement for Dr. B...'s; because I have NO intention of paying almost $6 a bar for their "fair trade" soap; (fair to everyone, EXCEPT the purchaser). That one went up about 50% virtually overnight about a year ago. This soap also beats I...y which also has a higher PH. One bar goes a little quicker than the soap just mentioned, but it is not very expensive compared to other premium soaps; I buy the multipacks, 18 or more, and get a very good price, even in Inflation-City-2023!

I've used this brand of soap for years. Every once in a while I will try something else but always come back to this soap. I like to stay away from chemicals and "fragrances", which are just more chemicals. This soap does a great job of cleaning my skin without drying it out and seems to last a reasonable time. It's nice to find products that you can rely on for consistent quality these days.
