I have, in the past 3 months, purchased varying screen fencing to surround my A/C unit. None of those fences were "it" until this one. This item is perfect. It looks great. Easy to install and sturdy. We had a few summer storms after hot humid days that brought high winds these last few weeks. When storms were over this fence was fine whereas another screen fence I purchased at a local retail chain to block a propane tank twisted and cracked.     • The material is great but its not free-standing

The fencing itself it great (it reminds me of a Rubbermaid-type material--heavy duty plastic, which is what we were looking for) but we had two issues with it, so had to return it. The issues: First, there are brackets for the tops to attach it together but there are none for the bottoms. The fencing is heavy and hard to manage while installing, because it's moving around at the base. It would have been much better, and stronger, had there been braces for the bottoms as well. The second issue was we were hoping to have this free-standing, as we were trying to place this on the cement around our pool equipment. There's no way it will stand by itself, unless it's pounded into the ground using the spikes it came with. Our garbage cans are also on cement, so we couldn't use them for that purpose either. For this reason, we had to return. Just an FYI, the seller, not Amazon, had to issue the refund, so it took about three weeks to get the refund. ... show more

You’d better be prepared. You must measure exactly. The hinges that join the panels don’t always work because the nuts buried in the panels turn when trying to screw bolts into them. It’s not even 4’ tall, so the amount of privacy is limited. It looks pretty decent, but you need a good drill and plan on spending time on your knees. ... show more

Construction of this product is impossible. There is no way you can complete the project according to the instructions. Pounding the plastic with a rubber market damages the product. I would not recommend. I made it work but it does not look good for the money
