Many of my art supplies have become dried out over years of not using them. I wanted to get a replacement set of things which I have used a lot in the past. This setup is ideal and really a great value for the budding artist in your family or the accomplished one who wants to do layouts of new projects before using very costly materials. Great set, the box is one that reminded me of a gift that I had received many years ago from my mother. It is very nicely finished and well crafted with trays that can be extended so that it is handy to use for many of the nice types of oil or acrylic paints. There are tubes of water color which are fitting into slots that hold them so that when you travel to a site or out and about they do not jumble together and cause a mess in the case. Received through Vine for an honest review. My review is multiple reviews. Perfect for the artist as it offers so much. For simple coloring I would choose a different set that doesn't feature quite so much. For example I will get a lot of use out of most everything except for the oil and acrylic paint tubes. Will get a lot of use out of pencils, watercolor pens and sharpener. Comes in a very very nice wooden box with latch handles and opens accordian style. Features a carry handle to take with you. Very nice set but be sure you need or can use what it offers because there are others that may better suit your needs. As far as this set for a beginner to intermediate artist IT IS PERFECT! (Although for painting I would invest is better brushes but for the beginner the ones included are fine). Happy to recommend! ... show more
