Weather is crazy out here in TX so you need to keep that in mind when buying furniture for your patio. I decided to pay a little more than I wanted to to get these chairs. Glad I did and got the ones w/ the drink holder. They look great in our backyard too. Will buy more in the future!

I love poly wood furniture. It’s extremely durable, doesn’t fade in the sun, and is made out of recycled materials. These chairs are fine but they feel cheap. First, they recline but it’s not necessary because even in their most upright position they lean back too far. Adjusting the back is also very clunky. It’s not easy to change the seating position. The chairs are also wobbly no matter how tight they’re assembled. They definitely don’t feel high-end. All that being said, the price is not bad. You get what you pay for and I don’t regret the purchase. ... show more

At first I really liked the chairs and would have easily left a 5 star review, but after sitting in them a few times my opinion started to shift and then after having a couple of drinks and continuing to fall backwards because of the chairs inability stay locked in a certain position really made me start to dislike the multiple seating position option. It feels like it’s made out of a good material, but the seat back rest keeps coming unlocked for the upward position, falling back in the reclining position, and this definitely gives people the impression that I’ve drank more than I actually have. I just want to be able to sit and relax and have a drink by my pool without the chair falling back and people thinking I’m that drunk. ... show more

    • Well-built, but not designed for large people

Pros: sturdy, attractive color, folds, reclines, waterproof, easy to clean. Con: bolt that holds the reclining position can slip out of its notch, causing a sudden, scary increase in inclination. I bought two of these chairs. I sanded the top of the arm support on one chair so the bolt setting the reclining position would fit more deeply into its notch and not slip out. That worked for me, but not my husband. He weighs close to 300 lbs, and his weight is enough to pull the retaining bolts out of the arm slots, so he can only use these chairs in the fully reclined position, which makes it very hard to stand up. I suppose we could tighten the bolt so the chair is permanently fixed in the most upright position, but that defeats the purpose of buying a reclining chair. We bought a Highwood Lehigh rocker for him instead, which is much more expensive but is perfectly designed for large, tall men like him. We're keeping the Adirondacks for lighter people to use. ... show more
