I have had the 40 pc. set now for 8 mths. The finish is holding up ok. The finish is very shiny and if you don’t want to have fingerprints and smudges after dishwasher, use cotton gloves to handle. Some users remark the pieces are heavy. I agree. So much so that the handle ends are heavier than the eating end, therefore they can fall off of plates if not placed accordingly. These are beautiful and substantial/sturdy. A little heavier than I expected. Knives are for cutting and not only Case/butter knives. Dinner forks and large spoons are pretty large for me (I usually use salad fork as a dinner fork because it’s slightly shorter).

Knives started to rust after a couple of washes. Edit: Originally gave them 3 stars. Kingstone contacted me directly and offered a refund. I asked for a new set instead. They didn’t ask me to delete or change my rating but their customer service deserves it.
