Nice heavy plates, packed beautifully. The glaze is attractive and I like that they claim to be dishwasher and microwave safe. They aren’t oven safe though according to the insert in the package. My main issue here is that they aren’t not round. Like, they are round-ish, but definitely not a consistent shape amongst the set. I took a picture next to an old correlle plate I have for comparison. I suppose if you want to convince your dinner guests that you handmade your dinnerware, this may be for you. But I personally like my plates round and uniform. Otherwise, they’re fine. Edit: I did see on the third or fourth slide of the ad mentioned that they are purposely not uniform. So, I guess that’s on me for assuming they would be. 5 stars I guess, but read before buying so you know what you’re getting!

These plates have such a beautiful understated look. The warm cream center paired with the darker earthy rim gives them a handcrafted, slightly rustic appearance without making them look overly farmhouse. They’re neutral enough to coordinate with many different kitchen and dining styles. At 10.75 inches, they’re a generous dinner-plate size with plenty of room for a full meal. The stoneware construction also gives them a substantial feel that is much nicer than lightweight everyday dishes. I particularly like the reactive-glaze style because the subtle variations give the plates more character than perfectly uniform mass-produced dinnerware. Another major plus is that they’re both microwave and dishwasher safe. Beautiful dishes aren’t nearly as useful if they require special treatment every time you use them, so being able to use these for everyday meals is important. The set of six is also convenient for entertaining. They look elegant enough for a nicely set dinner table but aren’t so formal that you wouldn’t want to use them every day. Beautiful combination of practicality and style.

When the package arrived, I didn’t expect the box to be this heavy. I’ve been really impressed with these plates. The first thing I noticed when I picked one up was the weight. They’re sturdy and substantial without feeling overly bulky, which gives them a much higher-end feel than the typical everyday dinner plates. The finish is what really stands out. The soft cream color with the darker rim gives them a simple but elegant look that works for both casual meals and when we have guests over. If you are obsessed with equal shapes then this is not for you. Each plate is unique and has a slightly different shape to give it a natural handcrafted stoneware style and they honestly look more expensive than they are. One problem with this styling is that they don’t stack well as they are not the same shape.

This is a 4 piece stoneware plate set from Kingstone that is rustic and beautiful! Each plate is 10.75" with irregular borders. They are a beautiful beige which really bring out the beautiful colorful meals I make. There is plenty of room for a full dinner. They have an upturned edge to keep juices on the plate from spilling onto the table. I love the irregular rustic borders which provide such a relaxed table environment It is the opposite of formal - so relaxing. The edges have a darkened brown beige border which makes the plates really pretty. On the bottom of these sturdy stoneware plates are 2 rings which help keep the table from being affected by hot food sitting on the plate! Love that! These are dishwasher and microwave safe too - so easy to use and clean. Perfect set! Fashionable and durable. Highly recommend! A great value!

These dinner plates are hefty, attractive, and have that faux-natural mildly irregular shape that makes them look more interesting than plain round plates without going full handmade pottery theater. The lip is nice and puts them close to blate territory, though not quite. Still, it is enough of a raised edge to make them useful for saucier pastas, curries, or anything else that likes to wander toward the edge of a plate. They feel substantial and look good on the table. Not perfectly regular, but in the intentional-looking way, which is the key distinction between “design choice” and “factory had a weird day.” Good plates.

These are my all-time favorite dinner plates! The slightly irregular shape and the warmly inviting hues of the brown mottled glaze give the impression of expensive hand-thrown pottery. The quality is superb and the stoneware plates are easy to use and maintain as they are microwave and dishwasher safe. The color is hard to describe, but it's a very appealing shade that makes you want to display the empty plates when not in use, and to show them off with artistically arranged foods on them when serving a meal.
