The HP Omen 25L used by one of my family members is a nice little machine, but it came with 16GB memory, which was not enough for all the programs that the user was running on it (for good reasons). So it clearly needed an upgrade to 32GB. The problem is that the installed memory is this special version made by Kingston/HyperX for HP, rated at 2933Mhz and it's not easy to find an identical module. So after some research I went with this close relative, with is rated at 3200 but is otherwise very similar. (Since it's rated at a higher speed, in theory it should have no problems running at 2933.) I installed the module ("memory stick") into the machine, powered it up, and it took nicely with no problems. BIOS and Windows were happy, the system reported 32GB memory installed, and wmic said that both modules were running at 2933. Success! So yes, I recommend the module for any compatible installation, including upgrades of HP Omen machines. ... show more

Even though it took several weeks to receive, I received exactly what I paid for and knew what it was I should be receiving before purchasing. With that said, it should be noted the Amazon listing has incorrect information when compared to the manufacturer's website for this particular kit. Amazon reports "Plug N Play functionality at 2666MT/s" when in reality it's only 2400MHz. Of course this only matters if you do not plan on using the XMP profiles. The install was quick and easy (as most RAM installs are) and there were two XMP profiles on the kit I received that matched the info presented on Kingston's website. Profile #1 is "DDR4-3200 CL16-20-20 @ 1.35V" and Profile #2 is "DDR4-3000 CL16-19-19 @ 1.35V". I was also pleasantly surprised to find the kit I received was manufactured by Micron and not Hynix as others report. No complaints. It's RAM and it does what it's supposed to at a decent price. ... show more

Compré un par de memorias RAM de 16GB DDR4 cada una, para un total de 32GB, y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Físicamente son un 10 de 10: se ven muy bien construidas y estéticamente me gustaron bastante. Nunca había tenido la oportunidad de actualizar mi computadora con un buen kit de RAM de Kingston, y la verdad es que fue mi primera vez usando esta marca en memoria RAM. La sensación de poder darle ese upgrade al equipo fue bastante buena. Aunque existen modelos más avanzados y con mejores especificaciones, este kit estaba a muy buen precio, accesible, y aun así cumple perfectamente. Las instalé hace más de un año y desde entonces no he tenido ningún problema. No he hecho pruebas de rendimiento profundas ni test específicos, pero en el uso diario —juegos, navegación, transmisiones y multitarea— han funcionado sin fallas. Tener 32GB de RAM actualmente es más que suficiente para la mayoría de tareas, especialmente si juegas, transmites o editas contenido. Las recomiendo sin duda. Es cierto que hoy en día se están usando más las memorias DDR5, y que las DDR4 eventualmente serán descontinuadas, pero si tienen la oportunidad de comprar estas DDR4, háganlo, porque todavía valen la pena. Algo que también me gustó es que incluyen RGB personalizable. Si tu placa madre es compatible, puedes ajustar el color desde la BIOS o desde un programa. En mi caso las dejo en el modo estándar porque mi chasis está completamente cerrado, sin vidrio templado, así que no veo necesario modificar nada. Installed easily. comes in 2 packs of 2x32GB sticks. I made sure to use one package for the white slots for RAM and the other pack for the black slots so both dual channels had RAM from the same package. I know TECHNICALLY it shouldn't matter because they should all be from the same run, but I wanted to limit troubleshooting. Alienware (DELL) motherboards are notorious for not accepting aftermarket RAM. The first attempted boot my screen was completely black but I shut down and then changed which slot in the video card my monitor was plugged into and it fired right up. So now I have 128 gig working. I will note that the ram running at 2933 and not 3200 is a known issue with DELL and the Alienware Auroras once you get into dual channels of RAM so if this happens you didn't do something wrong and it is a known issue with no fix at the time. It is only about a 4 to 4.5% decrease in speed so it is going to be imperceptible to most everyone. Great product it worked and I am happy ... show more
