The media could not be loaded. How do you get these to burn 🔥? I applied Expert Grill lighter fluid, and burning would last only a few minutes. Furthermore, I couldn’t get the grill hotter than 150F in a period of over one hour in which I continually relit the pellets. What am I doing wrong?     • Did not work well for the Weber Smokefire
I have a Weber Smokefire EX6. I have been having a hard time finding Weber brand pellets for it. I tried these. They are nice, and for low and slow cooking they are satisfactory. These only issue I ran into is that running these, my grill could not heat up past about 400 degrees. I even got frustrated one day and let it crank set to 600 for 3 hours. It was struggling to maintain 400, and ate a ton of pellets. I was excited and high hopes, as I view Kingsford as a high quality brand and use their charcoal briquettes all the time. ... show more
