I am very happy with my purchase, especially since I took the chance and ordered two. It is entirely black and looks exactly like the picture. The finish was flawless and there were no factory errors when I opened the box. The two tables were very easy to put together and packaged to withstand abuse. I bought these to work as nightstands and they look great next to my old fashioned bed. It has a lovely old world feel and almost a French style that looks perfect. If you want something classic, dark and different from those boring or creepy nightstands, this is it! Not mentioning, it requires minimal space and doesn't need you to sacrifice space you may need for other things. Update 2014: I feel it is only fair to update my review. I am becoming less and less satisfied with these tables. They are actually severely scratched on top, even though I used a small table cloth and only used expensive furniture cleaner, I was extremely careful to handle with care. In fact, don't use furniture cleaner on these! They will stain them and cause further scratching. The paint on the bottom started to wear off and it looked like someone actually had a piece of tape stuck there (manufacturer?) and it created a leftover silhouette. Overall, way pricier than the quality I got. I ended up purchasing Home Goods tables for replacement.

I bought this table to replace one I really didn’t like. I like this table much better. It is more expensive looking. Nice lines and great cherry wood color. Only downside is less stable than desired because the base is smaller and table is lighter so not perfect for carpeted floor.

Higher quality, attractive end table. Decent finish, but smudges easily. Very top heavy. I might end up attaching something to the underside of the bottom. Something round flat.. etc. Nothing comes to mind but I'm sure I could find something for less than 5$. (Thinking of a weight plate but thinner. You get the idea) (If you have hardwood, and no reason to ever move this, Id recommend double sided sticky foam tape) A bit shorter/smaller/lighter than I was expecting. But it does the job for the expected task. No notable imperfections or marks found on it out of the box. It also seems to be more resistant than some end tables to scratches/marks. Not wanting to test this... So for now all I can say is, it's scratch free. Okay, scratch that last statement. (ha. Pun) I turned the table over (the bottom is the same as the top. Solid wood.) I drug my keys across it repeatedly, actually trying to scratch it and was unsuccessful. I genuinely put enough force behind it to where I KNEW it would leave a mark, but it didn't. I was going to give it 4 stars but I added one back for this.

This is a great little accent table. I bought it to rest my champagne bucket on. It's perfect height and small enough to sit comfortably next to my chair making it very comfortable to get the champagne bottle out and in the bucket. I do put a towel under the bucket to catch the drips. It looks so much grander and more stable than the metal champagne bucket holders. It's light enough to carry outside to a favorite sitting area to hold cups of tea and cookies. It's easy to assembly and looks great. Small table cloths look great on it.

It's a fantastic size and looks wonderful! I mainly wish it was more bottom heavy since it has very little weight to it in the first place. It also attracts every speck of dust. Which I'm fine with, but it's good to know lol

Very happy with this little stand. I am using it as a plant stand. It is sturdy. It looks good. Arrived very well packaged to prevent scratches or damage. The simple instructions indicate a Philips head screw driver for securing the base. But you can use a flat head too. If you don't have tools handy, it will tighten up with a penny- I tried it to be sure. (Just so you know it is easy to put together even if you just moved in or something.) The style is simple and accurately presented in the product picture.

Purchased 2 of these as side tables for our couch and they barely lasted 6 months before they began to lean and the screws pulled out of the bottom platform completely. One barely lasted 3 months. Definitely not worth the almost $100 spent on the pair.

Love the color, it matches my bedroom set. I purchased this for a sitting area in my room, I put it beside a rattan chair and it is super small (height) so that the lamp can't illuminate the book I was reading. That is my fault for not measuring the chair and table to see if they worked together. I ended up putting a few books under the lamp to make it higher, so it's a keeper. Assebly was easy!
