So I bought these in two different colours; beige and green. The beige pair were a little stiff, not a true medium and tight. When I looked at the tag it states: 6% cotton 27% linen 30-% polyester 37% Rayon It feels like ruff curtains The green pair are made of linen and cotton only! Super softer and comfortable!!! I ordered them in large and they fit perfect! So read through the reviews because others have mentioned this. Depending on the colour of the shorts, the materials are different.

UPDATE: I received the black and the fit is much smaller. I could wear them, but with 87% cotton, I doubt they will even fit after a wash. When I go in to try to order another pair in the same size (hoping the pair I received is an anomaly), I now have to wait 5 days for delivery. I originally rated these shorts 5 stars. But my rating has dropped with this last shipment. Having such differences in sizing and having to wait 5 days for another pair that may or may not fit is unacceptable. ORIGINAL: I ordered these in navy and then also ordered a black from a different supplier. They looked identical on the product page, but the black ones were much stiffer and made with almost a canvas-like material (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQQBFJQR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). There was nothing terribly bad about the other shorts, but their inability to flex well made them less comfortable and snugger around the waist. I am returning them. As for these navy shorts, they are very comfortable, flexible, the waistline is more relaxed and stretches more comfortably and they have a much more summery feel. I have ordered these same shorts in black now, and while I haven't yet received them, I am hoping they will fit similarly as these. I am top heavy, so my waist is wider than I'd like, while my hips are slim. These shorts accommodate my thicker waist and fit okay in the hips--I could probably go down a size if not for the waist. They are also a nice length--not too long for my shorter frame (5'4") and not to short either--a conservative and safe length for me. I look ridiculous in shorts that are too long. These are just about perfect.

I own two pairs of these shorts from late 2022, which are made of linen and cotton, so soft and drapey. I bought them in several more colors recently because I love them so much, but the fabrics are all awful! Some are 100% cotton, some a mixture of poly/rayon/cotton (even the green ones, not sure how the recent reviewer got linen and cotton, I'm jealous) The fabric is stiff and not at all comfortable or flattering. Also, the leg opening is now much tighter, so the fit isn't as cute. Bad change, please bring back the old ones!!

Super comfortable and cute! Can dress up or just wear around the house. Pockets are deep enough to hold a cell phone, which is nice. Material is very comfortable and seems to fall nicely. Does wrinkle easily however. I purchased these in 3 colors because of how much I liked them. Seems to be true to size.

I’m 5’5 114lbs and got these in size small. They looked terrible on me (too baggy), and I was repulsed by the fabric, but objectively, I can see that they might work better for other people. The sizing seems to run larger than usual, but this seems to be true of a lot of clothes on amazon. The fabric isn’t stretchy at all (which personally, I find uncomfortable for shorts), but the waist is elastic on top of being adjustable, so because of this, you probably don't need to order up even for a comfortable fit. The size small measured 15 inches wide at the top. They were also about 12 inches long from top to bottom on the inner thigh, and 14 inches long on the outer thigh. One of the legs seemed noticeably uneven and longer on one leg, but I’m not sure if this was actually the case or if it was just really bad wrinkling. At least the pockets are real. I REALLY didn’t like the fabric of these shorts! It’s almost sheer in some lighting, but it FEELS thick, rough, and scratchy (just trying these on made me itchy!). I have no idea what it was (other than gross IMO), but these shorts also arrived VERY wrinkled and smelly. To be fair, they DID appear to be brand new despite the wrinkles, so i can only assume the weird smell was from chemicals or something…but still, the odor reminded me more of BO than chemicals. I would definitely suggest washing these before wearing the if you get them.
