This bed, as you can see in the picture, is stunning! I was elated beyond words when it arrived. The majestic appearance with understated elegant gold and platinum accents make this the bed of anyone's dreams. I acquired this bed for my six year old daughter as a surprise birthday gift. She loved it. It looked very big on Amazon but once in her room with the dresser and two night stands it fit right in. Everyone keeps asking about price, which I do not understand. This is one of those occasions where it is true if you must ask then you shouldn't be buying it. Plain and simple. Don't diminish the quality and craftsmanship of this bed by cheapening it. The great thing is that when she is tired of it the bed will keep its value, so when I give it to charity in a couple of years, someone else will get to enjoy it and I will have a receipt for my accountant.
