This mattress is excellent! The height is more than enough (at least for the frame I got). I gave it over 72 hours to expand just to be safe, but it appeared to be fully expanded around the 30-35 hour mark (the top cushion part is what took the longest). I used to have back pain from a mattress that was too soft, this mattress has the perfect amount of support. It is firm but with just enough give to be comfortable. The reinforced sides work, see the second photo attached to my review where I am pressing on the edge. Overall, I have no critiques about this mattress, it is great.

5 stars all day long! Wasn’t really sure what to expect from a mattress in a box, but y’all! Haven’t slept this great in years! The mattress came rolled and compressed in a box, wrapped and protected nicely, easy to open and “inflate”. Once it was opened, they advise 24-72 hours for it to take shape, but we let it sit while we put the new bed together and it was ready to go once we were finished (abt 2.5 hours) - super easy set up! No weird smells - no smells at all actually, and we got the 16” so I can only speak on how comfortable that one is - nothing short of amazing! Woke up this morning and my 42 year old back feels 25 again LOL - no pain!!! We got the grey one - looks great! The mattress is a littl bouncy, but when sleeping, couldn’t feel my husband moving around. Unforunately I didn’t get a picture of it before my husband was putting the bedding on. All in all, 10/10, definitely recommend! (Even got the mattress a day earlier than expected - bonus!)

I was skeptical about a mattress in a box, but I tried it based on the reviews. I love this mattress. I have been sleeping so good and am surprised by this kind of quality for the price! It is a firm mattress and has very little movement when someone in the bed moves. I would definitely recommend this mattress!

I am keeping the mattress because it's better than the old one. But, I'm not a fan of it because it's too soft for me. I can't sit on the edge of the bed to put on my shoes because it sinks down to the point that I feel like I'm falling off. That's annoying. When my partner gets in the bed, I feel the bed shift, and because he is 100 lbs heavier than me, I feel the slight dent when I roll toward him. This may be what many people find comfortable. It's just not my comfort level. I hope I get used to it. The mattress feels fine for sleeping. In fact, I sleep comfortably in it. It's cooler than my last one, and it's a beautiful mattress. If you are looking for stiff support, this is not the one you should buy. If you don't mind a little wiggle room, this may be the perfect one for you.
