I bought this mattress as a replacement for my 8 year old spring mattress. I specifically looked for a memory foam mattress for better comfort, and this one has an attractive discount coupon when I saw it, so I bought it. The mattress came in a fairly big box, but it was light enough to be carried alone by the delivery guy. I was able to carry the box alone too into my bedroom. Unboxing this product is very easy, just tip over the open side of the box over the bed to slide out the vacuum sealed mattress. I slowly cut out the plastic and slide them out so that the mattress rests perfectly on the bed. The mattress at first was only around 3 inches when flat out of the vacuum seal, but it slowly grew to its full size once it was able to suck in air. It took several minutes for it to come to its full size, so be patient. The mattress cover was a little dislocated, so I have to do a pull on different sides to align it. I like that the cover has a zipper to remove the foam, very convenient when washing is needed. The cover is very soft and so comfortable on the skin. The under side of the cover/mattress have some small rubbery spikes to prevent it from slipping. The first night was a little awkward for me as it was my first time with a memory foam mattress, it wasn’t uncomfortable, just awkward feeling. The succeeding nights is when I start to feel the benefit of memory foam. Yes, it is very comfortable, and the fact that it contours to the body no matter what the position is, gives an all-around support for the entire body. Every morning when I wake up, I no longer feel any sore muscles or joints due to improper sleeping positions. I don’t usually use a fan or AC while I sleep, but this mattress keeps my body temperature just right during the night, but our experience may vary depending on the bed covers we use. One thing I noticed also is that when my wife moves a lot on her side of the bed, the bed does not shake a lot unlike spring mattresses, which is good for uninterrupted sleeps during the night. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I wish I had bought this long time ago. I have missed a lot of comfortable sleeps. This bed comes vaccum sealed, rolled and put in a box for shipping. We had a great experience! Ordered Saturday - Delivered Sunday AM Pulled the bed out of the box, break the vaccum seal and watch it inflate in minutes. They say to let it rest for 24 hr before using. Our guest is coming next weekend! But I've tested it out myself! New sheets, new comforter - we're good to go! ... show more

Only thing more uncomfortable than this mattress is the lack of customer service. Forget the 100 night return policy, as it doesn't exist. The mattress is excessively firm, and if you're a side sleeper, this is definitely not the mattress for you. It makes my hips hurt and causes shoulder pain along with a numb arm. I let this mattress rise for approximately 2 weeks before using and it still had an off-gas smell for a few weeks longer. I have slept on this approximately 5 weeks and just can't stand it anymore. All Avenco wants me to do is sleep on it a little more...just over 100 nights. Please. Avenco's only remedy is to send a 2" foam topper. ... show more

I have been sleeping on this mattress for a month now and absolutely love it. I used to have a more expensive mattress and suddenly needed a replacement. I am so picky when it comes to mattresses and pillows. I like soft but I hate sinking into the mattress. I also like a firm mattress but don’t want to sleep on a rock. This mattress has given me the best Fo both worlds. It if firm yet soft enough where I am not sinking into the mattress and getting too hot while getting the support I need. The media could not be loaded. This is a top of the line mattress!! I bought a mattress that I thought was going to be the best mattress ever around four years ago. It gel memory foam. It was pretty good. However over the years it lost its shape and we were left on the hunt for a new mattress. This mattress was easy to set up. It filled up right out of the box. We left it to sit out for a couple of hours. The fact that it has the zipper to remove and wash the top of the mattress pad is awesome! The topper is waterproof which I have never heard of or seen on any other mattress. It's medium firm which gives me great comfort and support. It also helps relieve my back pain. I do not toss and turn to sleep at night. I would definately recommend this mattress to anyone. It's extremely high quality. Awesome price and value. Lower cost than most other top brands that I saw. I read the reviews some were mixed as for me personally i still love my bed. I waited 3 days to lay on it after unpacking and setting up. some reviews said the bed caved in after 3 months but not mine + the women that ive dated said it was comfortable too 😃 !!!
