So let me explain what you're seeing in the photos. I have a sleigh bed frame with a box spring on the floor. There are no slats because I have such a deteriorating spine that there is no way that I can handle the slats that go under a mattress on a bed frame. Over the years I've experimented with many different ways to sleep and not wake up unable to walk. This is just one more experiment but I think it's going to take me at least through the next couple of years. So on top of the box spring is a queen size bunkie board and then a queen size box mattress bought in 2019. The bunky board was supposed to give me some support in between the box springs and the mattress. But because that queen mattress in a box is beginning to sag in the middle I'm starting to feel the bunkie boards just like I would feel slats in a bed frame. The only real answer is to go to the Sealy store and put down 5K on a really nice bed but since I'm living on a very strict budget and my purse is extremely light I decided to put another mattress on top of my mattress. So now I have a box spring, a bunky board, a queen size box mattress, and a full size box mattress that just arrived today. Boy is it heavy. I think it's heavier than the queen mattress that I got in 2019 from a box. Maybe my memory serves me wrong but I think this is heavy. I could hear my physical therapist shouting LIFT WITH YOUR LEGS! lol I opened it in the carport to get the box and the outer plastic off of it. I have no idea how I managed to drag it to my bedroom but I didn't open the inner plastic that seals it until it was on the bed. As soon as I sliced into the plastic the mattress expanded as they do. Use caution at this part because you could easily slice into your mattress. I let it sit for about 8 hours and air out before jumping on it. It's heavenly I got to tell you. This is better than my original suggestion of just throwing a mattress on the floor. And it doesn't have a weird smell at all. Now I'm literally like the princess and the pea. Because of all the chronic pain that I live in daily and sleep in nightly I really can feel every single bump underneath me so if I have to stack 10 mattresses on top of each other to get relief I will do that. I'm very happy with this full size mattress and since I'm the only one that sleeps in this bed there is plenty of room for me. Highly recommend! ... show more

Overall, Iā€™m happy with this hybrid twin mattress (Model FA12T) by the Chinese company FANSACE and it exceeded by expectations. It arrived tightly compressed, rolled in many layers of plastic wrap and encased in a heavy duty clear plastic bag. They thoughtfully include a tool with the product care and warranty booklets to use to open this inner bag so you donā€™t cut the mattress. After I removed the wrap, laid it flat, and used the tool to break the seal on the bag, the mattress fully instantly expanded. It springs up, not like a memory foam mattress or topper. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no off gassing chemical smell. This process was very convenient, easy to do with 2 people, and very doable with one person. It saved me the hassle of going to the store, picking it out, and arranging for delivery or carting it home myself. The mattress is designed for use without a box spring and is single sided. Materials consist of Viscoelastic Polythane Foam Pad 40%, Polyurethane Foam Pad 50%, Blended Fiber Batting 10%, and the innerspring unit with a 100% polyester cover. It has more bounce, spring and rebound to it than other mattresses I have slept on. Yet at the same time, it provides medium firm support, closer to medium than firm. The top is soft and comfortable. I wouldnā€™t call it ā€œplush,ā€ but there is a comfortable amount of padding. It doesnā€™t feel like gel memory foam I am accustomed to and doesnā€™t indent or have a slow rebound. Iā€™m a person with chronic pain who sleeps on my side and I found it comfortable. The fabric is soft. I didnā€™t feel like it trapped heat, but I tend to be cold. I weigh about 150 pounds and mention this because Iā€™m not sure this would be as comfortable for people of higher weights due to the extra springiness I mentioned. Itā€™s perfect for one of my guest room and the kids love it. Also of note, you can feel the coils along the sides, but it isnā€™t a problem with comfort, just mentioning it. It comes with a 10 year warranty, which is a big plus. Iā€™m not sure how long it will last over time which is hard to tell with many mattresses. I wouldnā€™t consider it to be high end or luxury, but by no means is it low end. I do find $259.99 to be pricy for this product compared to similar and even higher quality mattresses. With a higher value for my money, I would be more inclined to recommend this, or perhaps even purchase a queen size for myself. ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the box on my porch. I thought in no way was this going to be a good mattress in such a small box. I was very wrong. This mattress comes with a ripper tool to open the plastic, so you don't risk cutting the mattress. Once that seal is broken watch out because this mattress opens up really fast. We should have opened it in a more spacious area because is quickly moved me as it opened. It puffed up to its fullness in a matter of seconds. The material is so soft and cozy. I have to keep reminding my son to keep sheets on it. It has 4 handles along the side of it, that helps you move it around. This is a very nice mattress. It had no smell to it. It fits my son's frame of his bed perfectly. There is no space between mattress and footboard or the mattress and headboard. It is a very comfortable and spacious mattress. Well made and very solid. My son loves it ( see picture of him when it first got here and we put it on his bed). I am pretty sure I will be buying 3 more. ... show more
