The comforter is lightweight. The material is not bulky. It is very soft and breathable. It's a simple, classy comforter for my queen size bed. I purchased the king size and made this work on my queen size bed so that there was extra length all around by cleverly hiding some extra folding under the pillows. I love the color (taupe). I plan to add some dusky mauve pillows and a dusky mauve throw blanket on it to accessorize. I wish there were more color options, I would buy more for different seasons. Would I purchase this again? I have been searching for a lightweight comforter, that isn't going to cause me to overheat, big enough to cover the sides of my mattress, soft enough to make me cozy, and pretty enough to look nice on the bed. Needless to say, my search was a long and tiresome one. I found this comforter and there were a couple bad reviews. I tried it anyway and I am SO HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE!!! Beautiful set. Buttery soft. Pillow shams came damaged. Gray is really more like a dark taupe color. For the $ point it’s a nice quilt but if you sleep on the hot side this may not be for you unless used in COLD winter months.

Ok everyone, hear me out... in reading the reviews, it seemed like a risky buy because some said it was so thin while others stated how much they loved it and how soft and warm it is. I had to see for myself... if it's as thin as they say, how could it possibly still be so warm? I don't know how, but it is just that. It is the warmest blanket I've ever had for it being as thin and lightweight as it is. It's like a little incubator that traps all your body heat inside. You know how when your feet get cold, and you tuck them under a blanket to warm them up and it can still take awhile??? Not with this... they're warmed up and toasty in no time! I sleep better cooler and my boyfriend sleeps better warmer and it seems to be just right for both of us. Upon opening I thought it was a lot of money for what felt like a queen size 'throw', but I am verrrryyyy pleased. The pups approve as well! Notice the rust color I purchased is like a dusty greyish/charcoal plum. Very neutral. If you're on the edge, I don't think you'll be disappointed. You can expect a very thin and lightweight blanket that is still incredibly soft and warm! I believe it will be good for ALL seasons! ... show more

So, I upgraded from a queen bed to a king and needed a new comforter or two. I shopped at five different stores, poured over wayfair.com and all the ususal suspects. I finally fired up good ol reliable amazon prime. I spent a couple of hours hours scrolling through the thousands of options before coming across this gem. I knew the look I wanted, the color, the price range. Honestly, when I received my amazon boxes- I was expecting huge, bulking comforters. I was prepared to be disappointed. I already geared myself up to be upset about the color as well. To my utter (delight) surprise, these comforters are exactly as represented. This may have been the best purchase I’ve made from prime. Incredibly soft, flows, simple pattern and colors are true. I could not be more pleased with these blankets. I purchased two- a light beige and very light grey. Both have been washed and are still beautiful. No pilling, stitching is great. Just have some common sense and wash it alone and dry on low. ... show more

The Cloud Blue is a bit drab and gray for my taste. The photo online is not a good representation of how it really looks. Otherwise, the fabric is soft, and it is as thin as I expected from the reviews—which is a plus for getting it in my wash machine.

    • I Love This Comforter Set!

This comforter is absolutely lovely. The color is very much a washed out brown, but in a way that makes it blend in nicely with the wood trim in my bedroom. Right out of the vacuum-sealed bag, everything was incredibly soft! While there were a couple loose threads, they were easily snipped, and now my bed looks lovely (I bought a lilac sheet set to go with it). I will say I noticed an incredibly sour smell and found it was just one corner of the comforter. After a run through the washer and drying machine, the smell is totally gone and somehow the comforter became even softer! The biggest sign this was a great purchase is my cat--who previously rarely slept on the bed--has started to sleep cozily by my leg at night. I honestly think it's because he loves how soft my new bedding is. ... show more
