The style is fine and the color is nice BUT it is not nearly as heavy duty as advertised or looks like from picture. I have dropped it (from maybe 3’) and also had it knocked off a table and both times the cover flew apart in pieces. It didn’t break, but it also didn’t protect my phone well since it broke apart so easily. My previous phone comer was not nearly as “heavy duty looking or advertised and it never came off as easily as this one. Basically very disappointed on its durability. ... show more

The case I had been using for years broke. Unfortunately it was no longer available so I thought I'd try this case. The case is VERY thick, making it difficult to position your thumb properly to press the Home button. I've owned other slimmer cases that provided more than enough protection so I don't understand why the case needs to be this thick. Please read other reviews about the thickness of the case. I didn't think it would be an issue, but it is. The plastic itself is strong but the fit is NOT accurate. Photos are with an iPhone 8+. Notice the space between the case and phone (white areas). Due to the inaccurate fit and case thickness, the space at the top (where the bar for an active app like Maps, etc.) is smaller than it should be making very difficult to tap. You have to shove your finger up into that space to get to it. Gripping the phone just about anywhere makes creaking noises. It's irritating. The Side buttons are extremely frustrating to use. Perhaps also due to a poor fit... but you have to push them REALLY hard to get them to work properly. Of all the things that make this case frustrating to use, this is the biggest one to me.
