I bought this twin size King Koil luxury air mattress to use on our two week beach vacation. It far exceeded my expectations! It was super easy to set up and inflated in less than 90 seconds. It was a nice height, so it was easy for me to get in and out of bed. The mattress remained almost fully inflated the first night, and only needed a few seconds to inflate back to full (very normal, as I didn't inflate and let it stretch before vacation). It was easily adjusted to the perfect firmness or softness using the self inflation/deflation valves. I left it inflated for the whole two weeks. I slept more comfortably then I ever have away from home (I just am never able to sleep well in hotel beds, just too firm!) I used regular fitted sheets with really deep pockets which worked great. We just picked up the mattress fully inflated and popped it in an out of the way corner during the day. When it came time to go home, the auto deflation worked so well! The mattress fully deflated with zero air left in the mattress. I was stunned! I was able to fold it back up to its original size to put it away on it's super handy carry bag. I was so comfortable on this mattress, I could have lounged on it all day! Highly recommend!

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. She has used it several times when visiting for over a year. It is very well made and easy to inflate and deflate. It folds up for easy storage in the drawstring bag it comes with. The outer side walls require more air after approximately 12 hours, but the main mattress holds air very well. I will usually add a little air each night, but it needs very little. Our granddaughter sleeps very comfortably and loves her little bed. I would purchase this again.

The mattress was purchased with the intent to use for tent camping. King Koil advertises comfort and boasts of super-quick inflation. In an air mattress, who DOESN'T want those qualities? Compared to others I had been shopping, it looked like a very good choice. To be sure my inverter was capable of running the pump, I asked customer service about the wattage and was told that it ran 240 watts. My inverter runs 300, which should have been ample power to inflate the mattress, so I packed the unopened box in with my camping gear. BIG MISTAKE. The day I received the package I should have opened it and tested it right on the spot, but I was confident that there would be no problem and going through the hassle of moving the living room furniture to make room to inflate a mattress just seemed like a waste of time so I waited until I got a chance to go camping, which, unfortunately, was not until the next month. The mattress pulled so much power to inflate that it blew my inverter! My friend brought his inverter over to help and it blew too! I emailed King Koil to ask what type of power source I would need and their reply was FOR HOME USE ONLY. Realizing that this was not going to work, again, I contacted King Koil. I explained why it was not going to work for me, that it was still new, and I wanted to return it. I got a reply with an apology for the inconvenience, and a request for the order number. The mattress was back in the box, all taped up and ready to send back. I sent the requested order number and expected to receive instructions on where to return it but got no response. So, I called. When I called King Koil customer service, I got a terrible connection and someone with such a thick accent I could barely understand him. In essence, I was told there was nothing he could do. If I wanted to return the mattress, I had to do it through Amazon as King Koil DOESN’T ACCEPT RETURNS. Amazon has a strict 30-day return policy, which I was unaware of because, up until now, I've never had to return anything. I KNOW NOW! (and so should you, if you order anything through them) I had the mattress longer than 30 days only because I hadn’t had a chance to use it. It took forever to get through to a live person but the associate I got was very nice. He was able to grant a “return extension” so I could send it back, but was unable to refund me the entire amount I paid! The mattress is in the original packaging, all tags intact and original shipping box. It has only been out of the box long enough to find out I couldn’t even air it up. It is brand new, and as such, I feel I should have been refunded the entire amount I was charged. Before I decided to purchase this mattress I read the reviews and was impressed at how many mentioned excellent and efficient customer service. DON’T BELIEVE IT. As to the quality of the mattress, I can't speak to that because I have no idea. UPDATE: Amazon was willing to refund me only a portion of the cost I paid and claimed they would send UPS to the house to pick up the package within the next 2 days. I put the package outside every day for 5 days and nobody showed up to pick it up. In the meantime, King Koil contacted me regarding the poor review. They claimed they were in the process of updating their product information to reflect the inflation requirements more clearly. I was told to keep the mattress with their sincere apologies for all the inconvenience. Their only request was that I amend my review to reflect a more positive rating. I am doing so at this time.

We wanted to visit family across the country and they didn’t have an extra bed. I ordered this bed and am really impressed with the quality. The built in air pump is a huge plus. It inflated it quickly and made the bed perfectly firm. I really liked the extra height as well, being a tad over 60 years old I’m not quite as flexible in the AM as I once was. When we go to leave I noticed the pump can be reversed and vacuum all the air out for easy packing. I’d buy this again for sure

I bought two of these. The first one I bought in February 2025. It recently got a hole in it from my elbow. I gave up trying to repair it because in order to repair it I would need a repair patch. When I called the seller to find out where I can get a repair patch I got an automated run around but no live person. The written material that comes with the product when you buy it states you can either contact them via email or via the telephone if you have any customer service related issues or questions. Since reaching out to them via the telephone did not work (no live person) I sent them an email. In their one sentence response to my email they didn't answer any of my three questions (where I could get a repair patch or where I could find a copy of the owner's manual online or how my elbow could have caused a hole in the product). Instead they wrote back one sentence and said to call them and they provided their phone number (the same phone number I had previously called). So when you call the phone number you don't get through to anybody live and when you send them an email they respond and tell you to call the phone number. This is even though the written material that comes with the product states you could do either one (call or write) and you'll get a good result. I did both and still couldn't get any meaningful response from them. Both products were represented as being queen size by the seller. The same queen size sheet that barely fit on the one I bought in February 2025 just very loosely hangs over the top and sides of the one I bought in May of 2026. Clearly the one I bought in May of 2026 is smaller than the one I bought in February 2025 based on the way the queen size sheet fits perfectly on the first one I bought and is way too large for the one that was bought more recently (no snug fit whatsoever for the sheet on the one purchased in May 2026). Despite the obvious discrepancy in size of the two products the seller represents them both as being quote "queen size". Also the one bought in May of 2026 is a lot lower to the ground meaning when you sit on the edge of it you can't just have your legs resting on the ground without having your knees almost up against your chest because the product doesn't come very high off the ground. With the one bought in February 2025 you could very comfortably sit on the edge of it with your feet resting on the ground and not feel like you are halfway to being in a fetal position. I liked the first one which is why I bought the second one. I thought I was going to get another one of the same product. What I got instead was a smaller bed that's closer to the ground while being represented as being queen size (the same as the size of the first one). As an FYI, when I bought the second one I clicked on the "buy again" link (which would indicate that they're going to send me the same product I bought the first time). Clearly they sent me two different products. Also, when you fill it up with air there's no way to tell when you have enough air in it because there's no guidance on how long you're supposed to leave the air on and the air does not automatically shut off when the mattress is full of air. If anyone knows where to find information or where to find the owner's manual for this product online please post it in these reviews because I wrote the company via email and called them and I couldn't get an answer either way. If you email them they'll tell you to call them and if you call them you can't get a live person on the phone. Their customer service is horrendous. By the way reaching out to the Better Business Bureau did not help because apparently they don't respond to the Better Business Bureau either. If you go onto the Better Business Bureau website you will see that they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.

July 21, 2019 OK, So, I am writing another review on top of my first review for this company and this bed because I can't figure out how to write a second review for the same product. (Or if it's possible to do so.). This company is one in a million! It's not a great time to be a consumer, in this world, however, the people at King Koil (Patrick) have proved me wrong and have gone far beyond what anyone would expect from an air mattress company!! They replaced my bed - TWICE!! If you have ever gone to Target or Walmart and bought an air mattress for yourself, please take note of how the manufacturer has shielded themselves from any returns, whatsoever! (One particular, well known, Canadian company comes to my mind - no problem for them to take your money and run!) It's very hard, for some reason, for air mattress companies to stand behind their product. King Koil however, makes it clear that your satisfaction, as a customer, is VERY important to them. Your review of their product and your "word of mouth" makes a difference to them. They feel confident about their product and if you are unsatisfied with it, in any way, they want to make it right with you. I'd have to search Amazon at long time to come across a review that tells the world that they would be foolish to purchase a similar product from any other company in the WORLD! BTW, this review should have been written a few months ago. I apologize for the delay (I've been a little busy). Thank you to King Koil for standing by your product and replacing my purchase twice. I appreciate your commitment to customer satisfaction, your speedy emails back to me (Patrick) and for making the replacement effortless. I'm very sorry for not getting this review up sooner as I don't want to diminish my appreciation. You guys are great and my mattress is unbelievable comfortable!! Thank you!!!!!! I cannot tell explain how happy I am with the customer service for this company. Before that though, let me mention that the bed is beautiful and I love the self inflate feature that allows you to just plug it in, turn a dial and it inflates immediately. No pulling out a separate item that has to be purchased, plugging it in, trying to reach the bed to blow it up, etc...... This is a no hassle inflating procedure. I had the bed about 9 months and it developed a slow leak. I figured I would need to purchase another but checked my receipt to see when I purchased it and noticed that it had a year long guarantee. I contacted the company, through Amazon and within 5 minutes I got an email back stating that my bed was under guarantee and they would send me a replacement. They wanted a picture of the "damage". After a couple days, I checked the bed and could not find where the leak was coming from. I wrote another email back to them and again - 5 minutes later received a reply stating "no problem, we will rush you a replacement.”- “No need to send back the damaged bed!” What a relief to not have to deal with repacking the damaged bed and mailing it back to them. Within 2 days - I received a replacement. What a breeze!!! This was top-notch customer service! After dealing with a competitor of King Koil’s a few years back, I cannot explain how impressed I was by King Koil's customer service and how quickly they stood by their product. A few years ago, after purchasing an air bed from a competitor, I noticed that mold had developed on the top of the mattress. I sent a picture to the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement. Several months later, I took the bed out to use and after blowing it up, I discovered that they had sent me a cheaper, low end bed that was substantially smaller than the one I had originally purchased. When I called and emailed the manufacturer, they told me that my bed was now no longer covered under the warranty so they wouldn't do anything about it. I told them that THEY made an error (I don't really think it was an error). They would not stand by their product or their mistake. I believe they shipped me an inferior product replacement because that is how they do business. They also make it clear, in writing, all over the box and on literature inside the box, that it will not be easy to return this product. I will never buy another product from that competitor's company and I make sure that I tell everyone I know not to buy from them. They are unprofessional, the quality is awful and the customer service is horrendous. I am so pleased with King Koil and the person that emailed me back several times to help me resolve my issue. More than once, Patrick wrote in his email that "we are here for you". Thank you, Patrick!!! It was a pleasure to work with you and I am very pleased with my purchase. I’d buy this mattress again. It’s the best bed I’ve ever slept on and it definitely relieved my back. I can sleep comfortably either on my back or on my side and when I play video games on my bed, I can lay uncomfortably without having some bad joint pains. The bed is awesome and for the best bang of the book it’s not bad. It’s really solid for what it is and you know I should’ve went through the warranty, but I didn’t for this bed, but you know if I had this bed warranty through the company of King coil I’d definitely go for it just in case and the fact being in the air mattress, it’s it can puncture can break but the warranty is really really good for whenever the bed goes bad or if it has a defect. The luxury feeling of sleeping in the Bellagio in Vegas, it gave me that feeling. The ease ability of use on inflating and deflating the bed even the dummy can do it. It’s that easy. And the retention on this bed is awesome. Like the last time I refilled the bed with air is like every once in a month I wait next month. I refill the mattress with air and it will hold up for a long time. The firmness is great. It supports pretty much all my lower back and neck even where all my joints are hurting it supports it and I can sleep like I’m on the cloud that’s how good it is and I can sleep in this bed pretty much all day because it feels amazing. The thickness is perfect. It’s not too bulky. It’s slim and also very thick on within the middle of the mattress. The sides is thick, but it’s not bulging to where you’re not tripping on anything so it’s perfect all around for my room set up.
