Built atop two 4x8 raised beds and framed out with a couple of 2x12s, the “greenhouse has kept the temperatures above freezing on all but the coldest days with just a small portable heater. I’m producing a few greens for salads in mid February on a hillside in northeast Oklahoma. The provided tie-down cord was supplemented with some cord from the hardware store and the frame screwed to the wooden base to withstand some pretty substantial winds - up to about 25 mph - with no problems. Nighttime temperatures stay about 15 degrees above ambient when closed up. On a sunny day, the temperatures will quickly top 120 degree, or about 70 degrees above the outside temperature, if left closed up. With top vents open on the doors and/or a combination of the side vents, it’s pretty easy to control the temperature in a more reasonable range. One person assembly over just a couple hours’ time. All the necessary parts were included. The illustrated instructions served the purpose. My only regret is not going bigger. ... show more

The greenhouse was very easy to assemble and has been highly beneficial, I added a greenhouse heater with a thermostat and grow lights as well as raised beds. The problem is on extremely windy days it can (and did) blow away, I would suggest heavy duty anchors all the way around the perimeter of the bottom, otherwise it has served it’s purpose, I grew ranunculus through the winter and now I have started all the seeds for my hobby flower farm inside. It was definitely worth the money, just needs more anchoring during windy weather patches! ... show more

Love this greenhouse, it has been almost 2yrs with this and the shell has started to deteriorate but the frame is in fantastic shape, a couple of the zippers have stopped working and the inner screen on the doors and windows have torn, but it has held up. This greenhouse has withstood several storms and crazy winds and we never had any worries that it would blow away (I did get bigger and longer anchors to secure the frame to the ground, which worked along with the supplied anchors. We built this greenhouse in about 45 minutes between 2 people. The video was easy to understand. We bolted the bottom to 2x4 treated wood. It has held up well against 45 mph wind gusts and high winds. You might get a tear or two where the cover is tight against the metal. We reached out to customer service regarding the tears and were helped by Ivy. Thank you Ivy for sending us a replacement cover. It does a good job of protecting plants inside from high winds. On a sunny day it can raise the temperature more than 20 degrees from outside temp. We had a light freeze come by and to run a greenhouse heater for about 24 hours. We were able to maintain the inside temp over 40 degrees with outside temperatures at 27-30 degrees I highly recommend this product. It is worth the price and functions how you would expect it to. This is a nice little greenhouse for the money. It was easy to assemble with 2 people but one could do it with extra time. The cover fits snug and did bust the zipper. If they strengthen the zippers this would have gotten 5 stars from.

I wanted 2 things out of this hoop house. A quick shelter/storage for garage items while work was being done on the garage itself and a greenhouse when plants needed more room than my polycarbonate one could provide. I want to be able to keep this up maybe 10 weeks during Spring. Shipping was fast, box was a little roughed up, but no internal items damaged. I liked how they packed all the same pipes together. I put it together myself. I am a 55 yr old women that has put 4 outdoor storage or canopy items together, plus one advance polycarbonate greenhouse. I did use a drill instead of hand screwing the bolts and nuts. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, METAL POLES WILL CRIMP. One senior person took about 1 1/2 hours for the frame and 15 minutes to secure the plastic. I could have hustled it a little faster on the frame if needed. Picture shows it together, I did use patio blocks all around the edge, I also staked down each section of bottom frame with landscaping stakes about 10" long, one in each direction so it cannot move out of alignment and lift. I did use the cord that was provided but went and put tent stakes to secure into ground and not the U anchors they sent. I did like the strength of the plastic and the zippers work great for me. The plastic is loose enough you should not have to "stretch" or put any type of force on the zippers. I have had hoop houses blow down the road on windy days before. I may have over anchored this, but I had the stakes so why not. We have had up to 35 mph steady wind, with gusts up to 50 for a few hours. It has not lifted any of the anchoring systems and the plastic has stayed sturdy. Depending on how long you leave it out each year, I think you would get long term use out of it as a TEMPORARY greenhouse. When I take it down, I think a good idea will be to mark the poles with a black marker the way they are connected now and number them. The black line will make sure I can line up any bent or crimped poles as this still does giggle in the wind, and I think that would be the smart thing to do. This is definitely better quality than the Chinese ones with the green poles. The plastic grade/thickness feels like ones used in the professional greenhouses. I got the white one. I think it was a fair price for the items supplied as I knew when ordering it, I was going to anchor it my way because I didn't want it blowing down the highway. ... show more
