I bought two 100' sets... the first controller worked for about 2-3 weeks and then quit. (I was able to prove the controller was the issue from my second set of lights.) Kimdelee was VERY responsive to my initial 3-star review and were extremely quick to not only replace the defective controller, but to send me some additional lights for my trouble. As far as the lights go, I'm very pleased with their brightness and color. The construction is solid. I had been looking for quite some time to find a replacement for an existing light string. After having purchased and retured several sets, this one popped up as a likely candidate. Like the existing one, this one is water and weather proof. The last one lasted over 5 years with direct sun, hot temperatures and freezing cold along with rain and snow. This one uses 3M tape and sticks extremely well. The connection is made waterproof with tape and protective box clip. There are two rolls of lights. Each being 33 feet in length with two connections. One for each roll. They truly provide you will everything you would possibly need and more to mount and connect these. On the down side, my controller would only activate the lights if pointed straight at the receiver and not more than a couple feet away. However, they also have an app to operate these via your Android or I-phone. And it works great. Even 20 feet away through an exterior wall. Truly a great price and excellent value. Update 12/15/22: one string burnt out, and I do mean burnt out. Scorched inside the casing. I had bought extra to replace some other runs that crapped out (no surprise there), and replaced this scorched run. That worked during the day, but now it's night and they don't work. Which means that a large section of the house isn't lit. After the holiday season, all of these are going in the trash. I wish I never bought these, and do not recommend them at all Potential buyers: buy at your own risk. Seller: do not have people email me, and bribing me to remove this review. I will not take it down. This is a review about the product and buyers have a right to know about other people's experiences and issues. Original review: These lights break apart way too easy, for starters. I bought 4 boxes of 100ft each (400ft total). I have already damaged one by dry fitting it where I wanted it to go. Lesson learned. Next, I have a string that turns anything after it an opposing color (in my picture, everything is orange until this issue, which then turns green). Makes it kinda hard to illuminate one color. Third, I put a run along the eaves quite high up. Well, those are dim as hell compared to the rest. Not sure if the picture shows it good enough. The remote has to be fairly close, although the app works better. The speaker for syncing with the music needs to be right next to the music. That's not such a big deal, but if you're having a party, that function becomes useless. For the amount of money, you get a good deal of lights. But, I'm really unhappy with how they turned out. Not sure if I'm going to keep them up. *UPDATE* I've received 2 emails from the seller asking me to delete my review, which I will not do. That's in poor taste. However, I do still have these lights up and have replaced the faulty lights that caused the wrong color. These lights do look good from a distance at night, and the app allows me to set a schedule for on/off and display. For the amount of lights you get for the price, I would buy again. ... show more

Lights are great and obviously water proof. However I haven't been able to get the remote to work at all, but works fine with phone app. Not to sure about the plug and control being waterproof though as it keeps tripping my GFI exterior outlet.

*edited* Original review: I've had these lights for a little bit and have been waiting to install them in my truck camper for some mood lighting. The quality seemed good, until I went to turn them on. I plugged the lights in and long pressed the power button and nothing happened. After trying a few other things, I figured it was most likely the control board so I popped the cover off and sure enough, one of the components was fried. I'm not sure how to get in contact with the seller so this is my attempt. I haven't seen the lights actually work but the rest of it seems to be of decent quality. I just need a new controller.. Updated review: Someone from the company reached out to me and offered to send me a new controller as well as answer any questions I had about the product. The new controller just came in and everything works now. They also sent the upgraded 4 way controller! My favorite feature is the listening function that reacts to the sound.
