I bought this to replace an older model. Love it! Holds a charge for 3 hour fitness classes. Charges super easy with wall cord. It’s light on the headset. I used the AV extension for a large speaker (in the guitar input that comes with it) as well as hooked it up Bluetooth style for my music at the same time. I love not having a cord when using this. It’s water resistant and used on the pool as well. Our last one was plugged in the wall the whole time we weren’t using it-we think it was just plugged in too long. So we only plug this to recharge and once done, unplug. These are the best fit the price that I’ve seen. Comes in a great carrying case too! ... show more

    • Good mic, but annoying mouthpiece arm
This is a good value. It connects quickly every time and it's light to wear. The only issue is that the mic arm won't stay at a fixed angle to keep the mic at your mouth. It drops below and I'm pulling it back to my mouth a lot. Would love to know how to fix it, but barring that, it's a good and affordable way to ensure your mic is clean, charged, and works. ... show more

    • Tour Conductor's NEW best friend
I am a Boston Tour Conductor who drives a trolley while presenting a narrated history tour. Our company only provides headsets featuring a wire that runs from the headset to a mic jack. So, in effect, we are tethered to that wire and the jack. Not the best when a bit of mobility is needed, as is the case when we are welcoming Guests, loading baby carriages, etc. I recently purchased this KIMAFUN wireless headset, and it provides superb sound and MAXIMUM mobility. I am now free to get up out of my seat, walk around within and without the trolley, all the while maintaining contact with my Guests. The headset is lightweight, and the setup is simple, with all proper wiring provided with the purchase. NOTE: I've discovered that by delicately bending the lightweight metal "brace" that holds the microphone receiver and also fits around one's head, I can gain just a bit more snugness that limits most movement of the headset when I'm gesturing or, go figure, riding over one of Boston's many (too many?!) bumpy streets. So. Thus far. KIMAFUN's wireless headset is, indeed, my NEW best friend. ... show more

Just received my 3rd Kimafun headset microphone. I teach classes at our local Y pool. The 1st microphone piece melted when being charged over the weekend. We were not sure why it melted but we wrote to the company and they replaced the entire unit. I started taking the unit home to charge, and it worked well for quite a few months. Then, the microphone piece melted again while charging. This time I ordered a new one because I need it to teach and did not want to wait for the Y to contact the company and the company to respond (it works really well for my class) . I wrote to the company myself after ordering. I was charging directly into a USB port built into my end table. The reply was "Excessive current caused the charger to be burned out. Instead of plugging the charging cable directly into a wall port, you can try using a low-power charging head (such as the most common cell phone charging head) as a relay." I again wrote to the company "As a consumer, I assumed the manufacturer was supplying the appropriate charging device. It came supplied with a dual charger with USB end and no further instructions. I don't think it is unreasonable to assume the charger could be plugged directly into a USB outlet." The response was "Thank you for your reminder. We have reminders on the product page and in the charging chapter of the manual that we recommend using a 5V, 1A-2A charging head. But we really didn't take into account the situation where plugging directly into a wall USB socket would cause excessive voltage. I thought you could share this with other buyers through reviews on Amazon as well. We will consider updating this warning on website. Thanks again for your advice." I never saw or read this instruction in the small booklet that came with the product. The company did responded to my inquiries quickly and did give me a work around. I have been very happy using the product while teaching my class, however, I will only charge now if I am in the room. If it happens again, I will have to look elsewhere for a similar product ... show more

    • Comfortable, picks up voice without a lot of extra "breath noise," etc.
My cycle class instructor uses one of these, and what I noticed was that I did not hear her breathing, nor a lot of extraneous noise. I have used it a couple of times in front of a group of people, while walking around and being about 30 feet from the receiver, and it worked very well.

    • Will only work for a week then breaks! Bought Insurance no refund no help!!!!!
Do not buy this product I bought 2 and both of them do not work. There is no product support even thought I paid for insurance. I was so embarrassed when I was doing a public speaking and it stopped working !!! I want my money back for both of the sets I bought.
