The lights themselves are fine, however, the self-adhesive claim didn't work at all. Following their directions, I started removing the blue tape starting from the battery end, however, instead of revealing self-adhesive tape, it exposed the printed circuit layouts. I immediately stopped what I was doing and emailed the company explaining what happened, and sent a photo, and asking them to advise. To date, they have not responded.

I love the lights because they have multiple settings with a remote and the battery is included. You can set the lights on high or set them on low. The lights also work with the sound of your voice and by playing music 🎶 as well. This is a great gift to buy for yourself, your child/children, family and/or friends. This was an easy set up for me it took about anywhere from 30-45 minutes. I gave this product a five 🌟 because it stands behind it's brand. I would purchase this product again, and most definitely recommend to family and friends!!! 👍

Easy to set up. Remote is intuitive as well as the bluetooth phone app. The music mode has the lights flashing in sync with music from the speakers or from your phone via the app. If their is no music, there are not lights in music mode unless you clap or speak loudly. Seven colors from the remote or many more from the app. The modes provide plenty of options for a great show. I did not try the adhesive but very carefully mounted with staples (I don't recommend most try this for you might send a staple through the light strip).

From the reviews I’ve seen these seem to be a quality product. However, I have had issues with mine. The remote does not work which means I cannot change these to white, which is what I want them to be on 90% of the time. I thought well, maybe the batteries they shipped with are just bad. Replaced the batteries to no avail. My first one I opened in my two pack worked great… for one night. After being satisfied with the end result of my light box project, I turned it off and went to bed. Next day I go to use it, hit the on button on the remote, and now they are unresponsive. I thought, well maybe the remote sucks, so I downloaded the app from the QR code on the strip. No luck. Now I’m stuck with lights that just go through random colors and then eventually turn off. I’ve tried everything from battery replacement in remote and unit, unplugging the usb, trying the remote from the second unit, unplugging and plugging back in, plugging the light strip usb into “usb outlets/adapters” etc. I’ve had no success. Since I’ve seen such good reviews I gave the seller the benefit of the doubt. I tried to figure out how to contact them to see if we could resolve the issue but I couldn’t find where to go. Amazon wouldn’t refer me to a good way to contact the seller so unfortunately, here I am. I’m giving a day or two after this review to see if I hear anything, if not, I will be return in to try something else. I’m trying to start selling custom made light boxes to make a little side cash. I need a reputable company to purchase the LEDS from. These seemed to be the affordable solution to my problem, but this far that has not been the case. I will update in the future if anything changes.

Read the directions all the way through. I got them adhered to the ceiling and plugged in before discovering they can’t be strung 3 in a row. I left them and they are working. The last section is a tiny bit dimmer. Also if you plug it in and one section doesn’t work it is very dim, flip one of the connectors around and try plugging it back in to the other strand. This fixed our problem.

The media could not be loaded. This worked very well for my “floating ceiling” project. It looks like lightening. App was easy to use and install. Battery powered which is nice because mine went on the ceiling and not close to an outlet.
