The media could not be loaded. The car was awesome but didn’t even last a year. Working with customer support currently to resolve the issue so hopefully they will send replacement. The charger turns green when vehicle is charged but the charger is green and the car won’t come on at all. Not even the lights or noises. ... show more

This little bumper was easy to put together and worked great as soon as we turned it on and went for a little drive. My only issue was with the parent controller—it never properly connected to the car so it just doesn’t work. Luckily we have asphalt roads that slow the car down and live in a very kid-friendly neighborhood so not having the controller isn’t that big of a deal.     • Neat Concept - Poorly Executed

What I like: Came in a nice Box Blinky Flashy Lights What I don't Like: Overall Design - If your kid is 4-years old but doesn't have the body of a 6-year old they are going to struggle to reach the accelerate peddle and steering wheel. The seating position is terrible and my 4-year old struggled to reach the peddle. I fixed this using a regular vehicle headrest pillow add-on, made holes in the plastic of this bumper car and installed it. Now he sits further up and can press the peddle like a 4-year old wants too Remote - Honestly who designed this? It looks upside down in your hands, the button placement makes no sense and I am constantly pressing the wrong button. Symmetry with the loss of usability must have been the design goal. Squeal - I must have dismantled this entire thing 4 times before I could narrow down where the squeal was coming from. In the end it was from the rear drive wheels being over tightened from the manufacture + these two small plastic knubs that are so close to the side of the plastic wheel that with any weight causes the wheel to rub against them. Again another design flaw that I had to fix. Speed - Max Speed 1.9mph, maybe downhill with a 4-year old + 10lbs of bricks. Within a few minutes my 22-month old son was thrusting himself forward trying to make this go faster. Earthworms move faster than this bumper car does on 'slow' and fast is an outright joke. The only way I got 1.9mph was by removing the two tiny 6v AGM batteries and installing a single 12v 9ah AGM battery which took lots of customization and even then my son gets bored with it after just a few minutes. Final Thoughts: I do not see this sticking around very long. It's designed for the average build of a 6-year old but moves at speeds for an infant. It's built in China and just like Amazon Branded clothing, sizing for average Americans is estimated and poorly at best. Had I not started altering it to make it work as intended this mistake would have been returned. ... show more

So.. I have been researching these little bumper car for my 6yre old & my 15mnth old.. After researching and eliminating what I wanted or needed, I decided on these ones, and I say these ones because I ended up purchasing 2 of them. I had purchased the black one first, and figured since my 6yre old would outgrow it, why not just buy one and he can share with my 15mnth old. Well., it didn’t turn out too well, because they didn’t want to share! So I ended up ordering a white one right after. I don’t believe it is recommended for a 15 month old, BUT he has mastered the joystick and drives it around like a real car. What I like about it is it’s not too too fast but fast enough for them to ride around the house. My 6yre old will probably outgrow it in about a year or so. I’m about 120lbs and even I can ride it around! I love that it have a steering wheel to give them a feeling of a car. I had thought the white one stopped working but figured out my son had accidentally put it in “outdoor” mode. For the outdoor mode, we would have to pull one of the wheels out but I have not tried it yet. Putting it together was easy, because it’s pretty much put together already except for a couple of things. Some of the holes were small so I just used a small knife to make it better to fit. On a full battery, it lasted pretty long. The remote control really helps to control it when I didn’t want my 15month old going to fast. This is the slowest 12 volt ride-on toy I’ve purchased for my grandsons and I’ve purchased several on Amazon. I laughed when he took off on it because I had read in the manual where they recommended the rider wear a helmet. The lights are cool and the toy itself is well-built.
