My little ones are learning to swim so this was a must. I got the same size in pink and blue and they both fit my 3 and 5 year old perfectly. They are adjustable and are easy to adjust. The material does really well in the sun. It does not get too hot. The kids are not bothered by them also. They will just leave them on the whole time. They also love the cute whistle that's attached to it. It works great as well. They can float in the big pool safely while they get the hang of learning to swim. When they jump in the pool it brings them right back up to the top so they aren't afraid to jump anymore! I also love the piece that goes between their legs. Fit was snug for a twin at same hgt and wgt. Material caused a rash to trunk, so definitely check fabric. Dislike the rectangular and separate foam inserts, safest vest? Maybe not.

This vest works amazingly well. It is sturdy, does not fade in the sun and is not inhibitive in allowing kids to use their arms and legs to gain the swimming experience they need to become independent.
