This solar system was purchased to incorporate into a wreath. It was very easy to assemble. I really like how each planet has texture, and you're able to follow directions fairly easy. I really like that the planets can all move and rotate around the sun rather easily. Unfortunately, the paint they provided wasn't of good quality, and the paint brush was too big for the small planets. Overall, I was happy with my purchase and I know the owner of the wreath will also really enjoy it.

I purchased this for my son and he had a lot of fun. He had to place the planets in the proper position and he also enjoyed painting them. It is a good hands on activity. My other two became jealous and wanted their own set as well. This kit is great for any kid who likes space.

A little disappointed there's no gears to make the planets orbit at different rates instead of all together but for the price it was fun and we got to talk about planets for half an hour. Painting spheres is a little tricky for small children.

If your child likes the solar system this is a good project to do with them. It was easy to assemble but an adult is needed if the child is under 12.
