There’s no way to turn off the excessively loud chime/ringtone when you power the watch on and off. A master sound control for all the very loud games is non-existent. Some of the games allow volume control but not all. But most bizarrely, half the games on my kids watch mysteriously disappeared. Very strange considering the watch isn’t connected to the internet. There’s no way to manually delete so it’s hard to comprehend how it happened. No way to retrieve either. The settings menu is extremely rudimentary and rather un-useful. ... show more

I got this for my 6 year old son and I think it is pretty cool. It has nice features and good sound quality and it is very nicely built. What the manual doesn't say: you need to get a 2g SIM card from speed talk mobile and you have to open the back of the watch (can be easily opened) and insert the Sim and register it online. It works well and the voice quality is pretty good. You can get a $5 prepaid card also from Amazon and it is 2 cents /minute. Not a bad deal for a kids watch. Upon receiving this item, I was very pleased with it. It seemed durable and the battery lasted pretty well. However in no time it started giving problems. It won't turn on at times, the battery dwindled and in about 3- 4 months it stopped working. Bought it for my son, he wore it mostly to school, so I don't know if it was mistreated out of my presence. I was never able to test the calling feature so... no review there. Would I buy again? I bought this watch for basic reasons for my 11 year old. One of which was to upload some music for him while he is at sleep away camp. Had to convert from Spotify to MP3 files and literally nothing I did worked....total waste of time.

This smart watch is exactly what I was looking for. Easy for my daughter to use but with enough features that she enjoys wearing it. The perfect way to give my 9 year old a certain level of freedom yet still be secure in knowing where she is at all times. I like that I can specifically control who she can make contact with.
