I am very pleased with this purchase. I am giving it as a gift, so I cannot comment on how well everything works, but I can say that there is plenty to do in this kit. I bought a National Geographic kit and was very disappointed, so I sent it back. My son is 6 and loves “experiments,” so we got him this for Christmas. We’ve only done a few things so far, but it’s fun for him and I appreciate that everything is included and there’s little from home required. I do wish the bags were resealable but we tape them shut each time and overall have been enjoying the kit. We seem to be missing the keychain, but overall this is a great value for younger kids. ... show more

    • Nice kit for kids, creates a mess with the powders
My son is 4 and loved this kit. There are a good amount of experiments, some require things from home but it’s not too bad. The main reason I didn’t rate this higher is because all of the powders come in little bags that you can not reseal. This results in a huge mess and you end up wasting some of the powders. If this kit had resealable bags or little plastic bottles it would be awesome. ... show more

I got this kit as a replacement for another one, which didn’t work and had to be returned. What can i say? I’ve never seen my 5yo so excited! Not even when he gets a brand new toy car. He was clapping and screaming and laughing in every experiment we did. The kit provides almost everything you need to run an experiment, you will only need a few basic items found in every household. I was super happy to see how detailed and clear the instruction booklet was (unlike the returned item) and there is an option to watch the experiments in a video format too. The kit has so many experiments that it will suit a kid of any age. Will make a great present too! Highly recommended! ... show more
