Seemed nice at first, but quality is not the best. My one year old nephew was able to completely take apart, strings and all in less than 2 days. Became more of a hazard than a toy. Sadly, a complete waste of money

There is nothing misleading about this product as advertised. However, for the price you pay there is "potentially" not much overall value. You couldn't expect to have a great sounding drum set for this price, though, either. It is small enough for a toddler, but can they really play a 4 piece drum set? Perhaps; particularly if there is a set in the house for a parent and they want to emulate. They can bang on it for a while, though - it does seem like it will take a bit of abuse. The drums actually seem to perform their function with sounds that are about right in general. The packing and assembly were pretty good and everything arrived in good condition. Unpacking was quick and uncomplicated. Assembly was based on a few simple instructions on the side of the box, and it was very easy to do. Mostly just pushing a few pieces together and snapping a few items on and the process was complete in minutes. The set is very light, so it probably needs to be on a carpet, as it slid when using the foot pedal. Part of this is likely because my foot was too large to fit properly into the pedal rest - it should fit my granddaughter just fine. The pedal could probably have a slightly better connection, but it works ok.

It’s a cute concept but I wish it were better quality. I understand it’s just for toddlers, but even so the quality is abysmal. I really don’t think it’s worth the $40 (after tax). Even if you saw it for sale for half the price, it wouldn’t be worth it. The money can be used to purchase a much better quality toy, or even put towards a quality drum kit. The chrome is plastic, and the “chair” is unusable (for my son). The “wood” around the drums are made of thick paper. My son did like it for a little while, but didn’t seem to be as in love with it as we thought. His aluminium empty cookie cans are better than this.
