This is a solid desk and chair made of seemingly long-lasting materials. The instructions (or “user manual” as it is labeled) are laughably unhelpful. As others have noted, you are likely to need to drill your own holes and potentially buy additional screws from your local hardware store. The instructions consist of a single page with poorly labeled schematics and inconsistent pictures. Assembly is not particularly difficult so much as it is confusing to accomplish without a set of instructions. The other objective weakness of this desk is that it is adjustable only through disassembly. Do not be fooled into thinking that the height of the chair or the desk can be adjusted on the fly. I've assembled many items thru the years but the screw holes would not line up no matter what I tried without getting out my drill, and the assembly instructions are horrible Their customer service was very responsive and the return went smoothly. So let me start by saying the desk is as pictured and it very sturdy however, the pieces I received were all for the same side. I had two left legs for both the desk and the chair therefore the screw holes were on the wrong side so I had to rig it to get it to be safe for my son to sit in. I tried to get in contact with customer service but it’s nonexistent and I didn’t want to lug this big heavy box back to returns ... show more

Over all cute, it is plastic so the desk had cosmetic marks which was annoying but i got over it bc they are cute also directions were not the worst but definitely were not the best. The screws that came with chair left the chair safe but loose so i went to lowes spent $1 for my own screws.

Box arrived torn and the Item was used and dirty and cracked in several spots. The only reason I kept it was I needed for son for school and did not have time to return and wait on another one as it took a while to arrive.

Bought this cute desk for my son and it looks so cute, my husband said it was a little hard to line up the legs of the table to the holes already made but he got it. It didn't take long to assemble it was pretty easy just follow the instructions given and you should be set.
