I Purchased this item for my daughter as a gift for Easter! She loves it. The chair has nice variable height adjustments and is very sturdy no wobbliness. It is also a good size, my daughter is just about 5 years old and is taller than most her age right now and she fits in it with PLENTY of room on the width and depth of the chair. The light that comes with it is plenty bright, is bendable, has nice options for being adjusted, and has 3 different warmth settings/ colors. The tabletop is very roomy and tilts with quite a bit of adjustment and holds in place very well. The one negative I have is that the drawer under the table top is a bit sluggish feeling when pulling it out and pushing it in. I sprayed oil on the tracks and it slides in and out amazing now. Everything was very sturdy and of quality, I am very picky with this stuff, being her Daddy I want to make sure it's going to last and not break down on her :). The assembly can be done by anyone it isn't a hard setup, just takes a little bit of time putting the chair together and then the desk. It's VERY straightforward though. The directions make it even more straightforward. Overall: I believe this to be a good purchase based on the cost and the quality and features of the item, and I do a lot of looking and research before purchasing items. Love, love the fact that it is adjustable and can "grow" with my granddaughter. Adjusting the heights of chair and desk are extremely easy. Grandd selected and likes the blue color. The set does not overwhelm the room. The only real concern when putting it together...we did not realize that the "feet" for the chair and desk are different lengths (very slight, but the chair "feet" are shorter than the ones for the desk). That was our only delay and with us working together...it only took 45 minutes to assemble the set. The light has different settings and that was a good surprise. The lamps fall off too east and need to be plugged in to work. The lamps would have been nicer if they were chargeable or even maybe if the cord to plug them to.wall was longer. But the cord it comes with is even more annoying because it comes completely off the light and the cube to plug into wall as if it was a chargeable light but it's not. The desk drawer is too small and doesn't pull out enough. If you really are going to use this for school or learning it doesn't have enough room for lesson books maybe just one maybe two. The Chairs are the worst, the screws always fall out and are annoying to scoot in and out. The chairs can be moved up and down as can the desk but the chairs screws fall off with over time. My daughter always is finding that a screw fell off and the legs on the chair to be uneven. When i go to put them back on I check the other screws and they will also be loose. The screws should not be coming loose and even less falling off if all my kids do is sit on them they don't even change the hight on them. We baught three of them because we thought they looked great but i really hate them. All three do it so i know it's not that I just got a bad one. ... show more
